Day 7, Late Afternoon - Cafeteria, Cards, Comrades

[Yoko Lee]

"All the more reason it might have a good variety of booze, neh? And believe me, I'm not knocking karaoke. Just saying I'm not sure it was good practice for actually singing in front of other people or whatnot. Not that I'd even know where to do so; It's not like I'd be singing over the comms for people while there's an operation."

[Ezmeralda]

"Oh, well, maybe for school girls that aren't drunk," she laughed, "I'd guess trying to find an open mic night at a bar or something if you are serious. Not that I have ever felt that was a big improvement over karaoke."

[Yoko Lee]

"Well maybe you're right, just need to do more singing without being plastered. I don't think I've sung in front of others before without at least a bottle or two in me. Alcohol that is."

Yoko finishes the peach-like fruit and sets the pit on a napkin before wrapping the thing up.

[Ezmeralda]

"Wait, you're serious? I was just trying to get a karaoke night happening," she looks Yoko over for a moment, "But I mean if you want to give lounge singing a try I'd enjoy watching."

[Yoko Lee]

A chuckle left her throat as Yoko kept cleaning up her stuff, "Karaoke first, of course. But it hasn't been the first time this week I've said I might want to improve my singing a bit, so maybe you just said something timely. I dunno... maybe I should stick to less things though; I have a lot of things I 'want' to do now that I'm feeling less constrained in my life."

[Ezmeralda]

"Ah, good, good," she nodded, "It's important not to feel too constrained. Unless you are into that but even then that is generally more situational..."

She stopped. "Or so I have been told. Ahem."

[Yoko Lee]

"Not my thing. Though giving..."

A small shrug before Yoko picked up her trash in the brown paper bag provided for such things from the tray area.

"For now, I hope you feel better, and let's look into karaoke some time, neh? If you're ever feeling better and want to know more about being restrained too... well, we might be able to have a talk about that too. Hope things go smoothly for you from now on with you and your mech lance either way."

[Ezmeralda]

"That sounds good! Well, more the karaoke than the other stuff," she started to blush, "Why did I bring that up?"

[Yoko Lee]

A small chuckle before Yoko gave a wave with her free hand and went off to take care of the trash and other things.

She gave her a wave, looked at her udon and decided to watch her leave. "Karaoke should be fun," she smiled as she returned to finishing off her meal.
