Making landfall (D1 EM Dropsite)

[Eric Voelker]

"That's good to hear. When I first met you, you sounded a lot more jaded. Of course, that was just after Kelenfold so..." He nods very slightly. "How are the other former Knights finding it? Adjusting okay?"

[GM Yuusha]

"There's always some time for life, whether that be flowers, romance or music." Sosanna responds with a smile.

"Longer than I care to think about. Too long. I was doing this back at your age." Thankfully it didn't seem she was going to ask Alison to guess her current age.

[Richard Winter]

"Alpha is okay, I mean he's seen a lot of crews and I think he's just hanging on me right now. Jester, well... Jester is ready for duty. And as far as I know, Mei has, um,... settled in well." He nodded.

[Eric Voelker]

"Ja..." There is an uncomfortably long pause. Eric turns his attention back to the unloading efforts. "Come find me if you have any issues you need help with. We're going to be relying a lot on Scout Company for this to be a success."

[Richard Winter]

"I'll do that, boss" Richard stretched and drank the rest of his coffee. "I think it's time to get active" he said "The camp isn't going to build itself".

[Eric Voelker]

"True. I should go check the mobile HQ is being set up without any issues." (German) He switched back to English to give his farewell. "See you later Richard."

Eric signalled someone to hurry over to collect his empty coffee mug. After that he stopped by Sosanna and Alison.

"You both have a good day. Alison - learn as much as you can. It's your first drop."

[Alison Rodríguez]

"Huh really? Wow. Don't think I'll be doing it all my life, stage always calling me back" Alison chuckled "but still that's commitment. I'm always impressed by that much dedication, more need to be like that."

"You both have a good day. Alison - learn as much as you can. It's your first drop."

"You got it boss" Alison said, offering a thumbs up briefly before holding her cup close again "once I've fully defrosted I'll be a sponge for knowledge."

[GM Yuusha]

Eric gave a brief wave as he heads off toward the hangars.



"It clicked for me. Sometimes that happens, for some of us. Things just feel right. There won't be much of a stage here for you though..." She purses her lips slightly, leaning toward Alison a fraction and considering her reason for joining up with a mercenary unit. "What made you pause your music? You're so very passionate about it."

[Alison Rodríguez]

"I'll find a stage. Already found a drummer after all."

Alison grinned. She wasn't being entirely serious, right?

"I paused because well...I had some reasons. Main one was getting further out of my little galaxy bubble. Make some money, then I can do what I love without it being used by people funding me for something else."

[GM Yuusha]

"Then I hope you don't find the trappings of mercenary life too restrictive dear. It can at least be profitable." Sosanna chortles and smiles cheerfully.

"I'll leave you and the Lieutenant to enjoy the fresh air. I'm due to hear some reports soon. Nice seeing you."

[Alison Rodríguez]

"Oh I'm a free spirit, don't worry" Alison said with a laugh, nodding to the woman "have a good day. Lovely seeing you too, and thanks for the drink! I'll keep an eye out for marshmallows too" she raised the cup in thanks.

[GM Yuusha]

"That would be nice."

Sosanna gave a little wave before heading up the ramp and back into the belly of her dropship.

[Alison Rodríguez]

Alison remained standing at the top after Sosanna left, sipping her hot chocolate and watching the work around happening. She'd get involved eventually she told herself. Not lifting boxes, she was well above that of course!

Eventually she finished her cup, and took it back inside before going to find the communications setup area. Ready to help doing something she was good at.
