Spending Them C-Bills (D4 LE Pryvidok)

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko nodded, "I was looking for something nice but easy to clean, what with all the sleet and dirty slush about. Maybe something in grey and patterned."

[GM Yuusha]

"I'll browse." Tessa adds. "But thank you."

The shop assistant directs Klaus toward the spring range before offering to show Yoko some items in grey that might match her wishes. All of their clothes had a practical elegance to them. Most of the male line was single colour. Plain yet striking. The women's range used colour more, however the shapes remained classical rather than progressive. It was very much a tasteful boutique rather than cutting edge fashion. It suited the fishing town's atmosphere.

[Klaus von Zinzer]

Klaus pulls out a long overcoat, the texture similar to wool. He tries it on, heading over to the changing area and waiting for Tessa.

"So, what do you think?"

[Yoko Lee]

The fact things were simple and fit the town's atmosphere had been exactly what Yoko had been looking for. The fact that they were still nice enough made it a perfect balance. She found a few things and went to try them on, being more of the sort of person to try things rather than just browse and imagine. She came out of her dressing room right about as Klaus came over for opinions on a grey number that was off the ground and very simple indeed.

He'd not been asking her opinion, so she kept it to herself. Still, the long heavy coat with it's clean cuts seemed to fit Klaus' personality and style pretty well she thought.

[Tessa Wentworth]

The chief administrator was taking her time browsing the lady's clothing. She wasn't ready to try anything on yet.

"Turn around." She signals when Klaus calls out to her.

"It's good. Do they have it in other colours?"

Meanwhile Yoko receives a compliment from the salesperson on her dress. "That suits you ma'am."

Tessa turned to check it out and immediately smiles. She gives a thumbs up toward Yoko. "That looks so classy on you. You'll only be able to wear it inside where it's warm, but it's very versatile."

[Klaus von Zinzer]

Klaus rotates on command. "Well, i am sure they have it in white as well." He looks down at his own white suit slash uniform. "But even for me that might be a tad... much."

He looks over the selections. "Brown, light and dark grey and navy are options I'm sure. What about you Miss Wentworth, does anything catch your eye?"

[Tessa Wentworth]

Tapping her chin, Tessa turns back to the clothes on display. "A few things. You'll know when I'm ready." She rummages through some racks.

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"I'll be waiting" Klaus replies with a smile. Without anything else pressing he takes a gander at Yoko. He certainly doesn't seem displeased.

"You do look quite nice Miss Lee. It does indeed work for you"

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko nods at the feedback, "I was kind of hoping we might get a nice day or two here really, what with things melting a bit and such. But even if it's just for indoors, it's kind of a steal with the sale price..."

She inclines her head to Klaus and the salesperson before going back into the room to try on something else.

[Klaus von Zinzer]

Klaus peeks, looking for where Tessa vanished to, only looking back at Yoko to make sure that he is not ignoring her but his attention is obviously distracted.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko came out in the other dress she had her eyes on. It was shorter and plaid, but warm and elegant at the same time.

She does a few turns, "This is certainly different than anything I've ever had, but I think I like it."

[Tessa Wentworth]

She wasn't the only one. Tessa walked over to inspect it. She made quite a few approving noises. "This is really eye catching."

Klaus and Yoko would notice that she was carrying a few items ready to try on.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko certainly notices all the bags and looks at the time, "That's more than enough recommendation in my book, Tess."

She hoped Miss Wentworth didn't mind her being a little less formal as she turned to the store clerk, "I'll take both dresses and wear this one to dinner actually, if you can just price it for me off the tags."

Yoko handed the woman the dress' tag before grabbing the grey dress from the room and handing that over as well.

[Klaus von Zinzer]

Klaus peeks at the items Tessa is carrying. "Are you going to model for me?" He asks with a quirk of his lips.

[Tessa Wentworth]

"Maaaybe. Have you been good?" Tessa teases.

She holds up the items one by one. A long navy blue skirt, a sky blue corset top, a pretty pastel pink peplum and a low cut red dress that she only shows for a brief moment. Tessa looked on the fence about that one. It was one of the bolder and brighter items among the lady's section.

"I'll see how these look in the mirror. Sorry to make you wait on us Klaus."

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko busies herself with packing up what she came in, since she'd resolved to wear the plaid winter dress to dinner. Well, everything except her stockings, which helped keep things warm under the dress anyways. The fact this also seemed to include a pair of scant undergarments might have passed unnoticed.

[GM Yuusha]

Soon Tessa would head into one of the changing rooms to try on her picks. She was confident the skirt and top would be nice. Normally, she didn't go for pink, but the peplum top was her style. The red dress was another story.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko walked out with the bag in one hand, leaning in towards the door to the changing room Tessa was using, "Just let me know if you need help with anything in there Tess."

She turned to Klaus, lowering her voice, "Though I suppose you could always help her in there, neh?"

[Tessa Wentworth]

"Erm, maybe the dress in a minute. It has a zip." Which of course meant at the back.

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"Do you require help to zip it up?" Klaus asks with a sly smile. "I like the red one. But I most certainly not been good"
