Mako would wonder why this was up to a vote at all, far more used to the tyrannical dictates of his academy professors (and though he wouldn't admit it, his family). But if they were going to ask him to give his opinion then it would be prudent to strike at a communications center first. Put the enemy in disarray and then clean up. The OA didn't have the advantage of numbers and so had to make do with shrewd tactics.

(Voting for Communications Relay Outpost Szekeres - Communication Centre.)

Target Vote Result: Communications Relay Outpost Szekeres will be the target for Day 3.

In the late evening a message is sent to all the lance leads and other key personnel: the Angels would be mobilising to attack the Comms outpost once scouting had taken place. The other nearby targets would also be scouted to provide as much information as possible.

Hopefully, attacking the comms outpost would confuse the enemy and give the Angels an easy target to shake off their travel fatigue. Kurt and the chief mechtech were not best pleased, and there was some disagreement among other staff too. It had been close. However, Eric had approved the attack even though he felt that Budai would be far more profitable. Better safe than sorry.
