I'm looking ahead and the fact that it's capped means that we should absolutely prioritize people to get a chance.

At first blush, it seems like people with the highest Gunnery rolls and our Doctor is the best call

I can participate as a frontliner or support.

Computers 3 no emphasis though.

My best pool is 5K2 before edge (Strategy)

Catherine's best pool is Gunnery at 10ke4, before edge.

My best is 7k4 before edge, but it is only for the Computer's roll that gives 4 + 1/raise points

I would have to roll piloting to kick tanks because Brash. But I do have a base 10k4 to do so. Although it is the lowest point value option, so that is not ideal. But i get a free raise. With edge I have a good chance of getting 5 points. Shame about brash since I would get the anti aircraft FR on the other rolls.

Point/Risk wise the most sensible option would be attacking drones for me, can get possible 6 Points out of it.

Ez has a 10k4 gunnery pool. I will happily shoot things down. Probably could plug drones for 8 points.

Overconfident says that I have to smash stuff but have a decent pool for it and a free raise so could probably net 4/5 points with it

And I just noticed the Orion has the Anti-Air quirk. Yeah, I am good for this.

Also the event doesn't specify that these count as combat rolls though they are somewhat flavored as such it seems possible Inherited Mech might apply its +1k1 since it isn't structured combat

I have a 10k5 roll for Computers if that helps.

It's a combat roll, apologies.

I can play it safe for pretty much guaranteed (99%) 6 points, with a 85% chance of 8 pts and a 46% chance of 10 pts.
Or I can risk a little and go for 8 pts at 96%, with a 65% chance of 10 pts.

8points at 96% Chance seems like a reasonable gamble

With 9 players left to get 28 pts, I think I will play it safe, lest I cost us 6 points right away. I really do not trust Orokos on this one.

The safe option still has a 85% chance to get 8 pts anyway.

[update:] the safe option still gave me the full 10 pts possible. \o/
