These are Tanakis pools for the event, obviously I am leaning toward doing Part 4
Part 1- 6K4 TN 20
Part 2- 4K3 TN 10 or 5K3 TN 15
Part 3- 5K3 TN 10
Part 4- 9K4 TN 15

My best roll for it is the Commerce roll: 7k5+5 with Edge

Yori's best shot of contributing is step 3.

Even with getting a free raise in steps 1 and 2?

Yes.

Whoever does step three will need to seriously look at what we are trading off, and keep in mind the strength loss from those.

Remember you will have a pool of 5 people and there are only 4 rolls. One person is your reserve. This can be anyone.

I could do Part 1.
I only have a pool of 4k3, but with the free raise and the rank bonus i would have a chance of succeding of 92%.
I won't do any raises as i can't spend edge (Thanks metal arm!

)

Catherine is pretty useless at all of these rolls. With 5k3 for Tactics, it is the only thing she could maybe succeed at, so I better sit this one out.

As it looks to me right now, part 2 is our biggest hurdle right now.
Part 1
I could do Part 1 with a 4k3 +7 (Free Raise + 2[Rank 2.5]) at a native success rate of 92%.
That would be 1 Sale point and more if i have a high roll.
Part 2
We'd need someone with high perception and either high tactics, investigation or interreogation. I don't know who would fit best here, but i think Ezmeralda or Hrafn would have a good shot.
Part 3
It would be intersting how good Yori compares to Charlie on Part 3, I don't really want to see anyone on the bench, but we should set our chances as high as possible. ^^;
Part 4
That's really the Part i see Tanaki in. With 9k4 (dunno if edged/unedged) against TN15 he could even squeeze 1 or 2 raises in.

Klaus maybe?

9K4 is without edge, 10K5 w/ Edge and technically I have 2 free raises on it I would prolly roll it at standard diff with the 2 free raises and hope to beat it by 20

I will defer here. I can pinch hit if anyone has a failure, but I think that other people are better at individual parts

I have 5k3+3 for this:
• You will look for clues and apply deduction while warming up with light negotiation.
Roll: Investigation [Perception] TN20, adding your Negotiation skill as a static bonus. E.g. If you are Negotiation 2 you would add +2
And 6k3 for the final Negotiation and as I am patrolling rather than hunting for salvage I can edge both those to 6k4+3 and 7k4. Which is good but could be done better by a social focused non-com.

Unfortunately each person can only roll once so we cant have anyone do two separate sections.

Ah, fair enough. Let me know if you need either of those rolls then.

So, for part three, what mechs do we want to give up. According to the probability chart, I should be able to two Raises fairly easily unless Orokos just want to mock me.
As for what mechs, here's my suggestion:
Both *Spiders (due to being death traps and Charlie's own trauma, he'd like to get rid of these) and the Urbie unless people want to hold on to it in case of a city fight.
And if Orokos is truly kind to me and I get an exception success, both Spiders and well, I'm not sure what 1 point mech I should offer up.
Of course, I'll offer up whatever people want.
*I believe Spiders are the mechs with the cockpit in the chest instead of the head. If I'm wrong, please let me know.
