Didn't see a Gm questions so creating one with some questions!
1) From the recon event it says you only need to dedicate one slot - can you however do more than one if you want, or is it capped at one thread may to participate in - or you only get rewards from one but can do more?
2) For the 'pick a target' thread, is it mandatory for everyone to vote? Do we post in the briefing room roll thread with our vote if we don't intend to persuade anyone?
3) More of a general question and I'm sorry if it is somewhere and I've just missed it on the forum - in terms of army wear, is there any uniform when not in private (so in meetings or out interacting with the public) or something you would wear/have on you to show who you're part of? If there is, could I ask what it is?

You can IC say you dedicate as much time as you want to it and spend extra timeslots. However, you're essentially OOC doing nothing with the extra timeslots as it won't help mechanically and you're then stuck in the event for those timeslots unable to make threads. If folks want that for fluff, however, then... sure?
2) For the 'pick a target' thread, is it mandatory for everyone to vote? Do we post in the briefing room roll thread with our vote if we don't intend to persuade anyone?
Voting is mandatory for Combat characters and anyone else who joins, yes. I mean, you could vote to abstain.
Yes, please post in the vote thread what you vote for. Rolls to sway NPCs are optional (although you may as well, since there is no risk).
3) More of a general question and I'm sorry if it is somewhere and I've just missed it on the forum - in terms of army wear, is there any uniform when not in private (so in meetings or out interacting with the public) or something you would wear/have on you to show who you're part of? There is a dress uniform for all Angels. It is only required for ceremonious occasions, such as funerals and parades. Very rarely in other words. This displays the unit logo and your rank insignia. 99% of the time you can wear what you like, but you need to show the unit logo somewhere visible on your clothes when on duty.
Angels don't need to wear, and aren't even encouraged to wear, the dress uniform when interacting with the public. It's more for their own things as a mark of respect. That said, the dress uniform depends on rank.
Non-officers: Black shoes, navy blue dress pants or skirt, tucked in white shirt, black tie, charcoal black berret. (As below)
Officers: Black shoes, navy blue dress pants or skirt, tucked in white shirt, black tie, navy blue jacket, charcoal black officer's cap.

Might be a stretch, but my brain is in 5e mode where you ask if it applies. Can recon specialist apply to the communications roll to convince the person swayed by that?

"You gain a +1k0 bonus to Communications, Computers and Investigation rolls related to recon activities."
It'll apply in the recon event. It will not apply in the Pick a Target event.

For the "It doesn't work" event can you take part if you don't have the skill but an underling does?

If Catherine wants to put in a request for a long distance (300-500 feet) shooting range to be set up near the camp, what would be the correct process for that?

One of the senior officers needs to approve it, which also means making some rules for it. (Less there be someone firing grenades at night time because nobody said they couldn't). That officer should also notify parties that would be interested, such as the quartermaster for a shooting range.
TLDR: Ask Eric or Laks and, if they agree, let them make the arrangements. OOC: If there is some interest and people put in some effort IC then it'll become real

Sounds good. Cat is interested, but not hung up about it. To her it is mostly "I think this is a good suggestion and it will definitely be good for our foot soldiers. I get to shoot my laspistol as a bonus." ^-^
I think Cat will try to ask Laks after the Simulation D2 EE.

"Some snowmen popped up overnight around the base. Weird."
"Probably Annalena. She's been enjoying the snow."
"No way, I was on the evening patrol and the morning patrol the next day. They appeared during her bed time. You know the CO is strict about that."
"Ok, so, who was it?"
Silly question; Are these snowmen still around the base as of Day 4?
EDIT: Oh, and another question; Since I don't see anything for it on the dropsite description, and quarters definitely don't have them each, are there any other showering/bathing facilities around the base besides the ones in the locker rooms?

They stop being around the base as of D5 LA:
D5
It is March 25th 3050. Monday. The local Militia continue to be inactive, although there is more radio traffic than days prior. After their irritation yesterday, the AFFC instruct their Liaison Officer to query the particulars of salvage findings and minor aspects of the contract. They wish to know the Angels are acting in good faith. Tessa organises a response, seeing this as an ideal opportunity to gently highlight some aspects of the contract that are unclear along with some intelligence that wasn't available before it was signed, complicating matters. This leads to a meeting in the early afternoon that starts tensely, but offers the Angels a chance to negotiate slightly more favourable terms if they're up to the challenge. Better still, the informant returns with a truckload of fresh produce and fish brought from Pryvidok. Only a few hours later a few Angels, guided by aerospace assets to help them avoid enemy patrols, head to the seaside town to purchase supplies and to learn more about the town in the process. Weather wise the day is somewhat warm, with the sun out once again and more snow melting away. The snow persists only in the mountains and where there was a lot of snow to begin with, such as around the dropsite, but the mystery snowmen from days before melt away by the evening.
So, yes, they're around D4.
Regarding showers: Officers have an en suite. Everyone else has to share a shower room at the end of a hall of bunks. A bit like cheaper student dorms. There are locks. Getting up to loud 'activities' in them would be heavily frowned upon however. They're for communal use after all.

The two D5 Events does Strategist apply to either event? I assume yes for the target discussion and no for the supply run?

Strategist would apply to "What about the particulars?" but not "Supply Run", yes.

You gain a +1k0 bonus to Investigation, Technician and Knowledge rolls related to salvage activities.
So, do apply that to those skills throughout the salvage event. It'll be a regular thing.

Subject: Supply Run (D5 LA Pryvidok Event)
Does owning a Comms Kit give any advantage on this step here?
c) Put it to use. You need to clearly communicate how to get the items back safely, where to store them and who needs to be informed. This is a Communication [Awareness] Roll TN15.

No. This is for the verbal communication i.e. the clarity of your message, rather than whether the messages gets through loud and clear or not.

In the late evening and night slots, yes.
