Battletech: Planet's Fall

Day 12
The day today is Monday, 1st April, 3050. While it may be a day of pranks for some, for the Angels and the AFFC it is a serious day. The attack against Ninovo Supply Depot is underway! As the AFFC have become especially pleased with the efforts of their mercenary force they've sent over a lance of heavy and assault mechs to assist us against the Akos Militia in future, especially once we get to Northern Akos where their defences are strongest. Naturally, the Liaison Officer is particularly pleased by this as he now has additional company that he can lord over. That aside, Ninovo is boasts artillery units and field gunners. These make the attack a little more challenging, but the real surprise comes from a hidden counter-attack force and an air dropped lance of mechs from Arnad. The day's excitement only continues as Angels units are forced to give chase to fleeing enemies as they try to get away with some of the base's parts and supplies.

Weather wise, it is warm in the morning, but cloudy throughout the entirety of the afternoon. These disperse by the late evening. The big news of the day is that the AFFC have return Budapest's spaceport. They've also repelled the counter-attack and renewed their siege efforts. However, the damage sustained is high and the lack of interstellar communications is hampering efforts to bring in replacement parts and units. For the Angels however, things are going well. Many new mechs are available. Some that aren't used will need to be given over to the AFFC soon, but there are a good number of recently taken mechs that some of the mechwarriors are keen to swap to.

Notes:
• New mechs are available here. If you would like to replace your mech or switch out one of the mechs in your lance, please notify me. The new mechs are available, one per lance, on a first come, first served basis.
• 'Heroic Effort!' Impact level has been reached: Technician and Administration (Logistics) rolls in AFFC space and Negotiation rolls involving the AFFC gain a free raise.
• The AFFC will send some forces to support the Angels, allowing for more reinforcement options for combat missions: A Reinforcement Token can be used to bring in an AFFC ally mech. This will always be a Heavy or Assault mech.
