Saturday, 30th March, 3050. There is a large electrical storm that hits Akos in the early morning and persists for the next twenty two hours. This causes unshielded electrical equipment to malfunction in minor but annoying ways, or to randomly switch off. This makes driving and piloting a little harder, but fortunately the dropship's major systems are mostly unaffected. The same is not true in terms of the interiors, with lightbulbs flickering and communications often ending up scrambled. Outside the sky is full of dark clouds where a mad battle of lightning can be seen. It's quite something to behold and it necessitates low flying to avoid them. Thunder cracks can be heard non-stop. The only silver lining is that very little lightning actually strikes below the roiling clouds. Aside from this the dark is rather warm and by the late afternoon many residents of Torutovy and Pryvidok have realised it is safe to step outside and watch the unusual display. This ends come the evening when it begins to rain heavily.
In terms of news, the late afternoon and evening attack on Camp Kerkina has caught the Akos Militia completely off guard. They were clearly aware of a threat in Southern Akos, which had caused them to withdraw from the area, but their Camp being attacked behind their frontlines comes as a shock to them. Their leadership are now fully aware of the presence of a mercenary force aiding the AFFC, with their attention turning from supporting the mainland to how best to address this new hostile force on their continent. Naturally, the AFFC considers this a big win. They are also very keen for the salvage from the Camp to be secured. Combined with further victories on the mainland and the flow of good communications, even if some have to be sent a few times to get through, has left Kurt looking especially satisfied. Salvage operations do occur in the morning. They are hurried due to the Camp's location, which puts it at risk of a strong counter-attack. The Angels retreat from the area after loading everything of value they can find onto their Leopard dropship, which is forced to make multiple low-flying trips to the site. Anything that looks important for the Militia and can't be taken back is sabotaged. Later intelligence does suggest some Akos Militia infantry have arrived on the Site, but they make no effort to fortify it or return it to use. Aside from this, there is a brief late afternoon meeting to pick the next target site to be attacked. In the hangars the mechtechs and their assistants are incredibly busy with repairs and mech maintenance, with oddly many cockpits needing work. The only other meeting of note would be the Pryvidok Sheriff's office sending over representatives again in the early evening.
Notes:Mechanical changes:
Threat is 0.4: +0.6 (attacking Kerkina) +0.6 (six combat victories) = 1.6
In game effect: The chance of a random encounter increases by +1. Strength decreases by 0.1 at the end of each session at this level.
Impact is 3.1: +0.4 (attack Kerkina) +0.2 (It's a Race 1) +0.2 (It's a Race 2) +0.2 (It's a Race 3) +0.3 (Threat at 1.6) = 4.4
In game effect: Administration (Logistics) rolls in AFFC space gain a free raise (this includes areas the Angels hold). The AFFC will send some forces to support the Angels if fighting the KungsArmé, allowing for more reinforcement options for combat missions against them.
Strength is 2.5: -0.4 (attacking Kerkina) +0.2 (lower threat loss from recon) -0.1 (Threat) +0.1 (It's a Race 3) +0.1 (forming connections to Lyran sympathisers) = 2.4
In game effect: On a Combat Day, a single difficult combat will receive a reinforcement for free. Others may request a reinforcement by expending a Reinforcement Token.
• Torutovy and Pryvidok have each had a new sub-location open at player request.
• All those who participated in successful combats have been awarded fame depending on their contribution. An additional 0.2 fame has been gained by all lance leads.
• Electrical Storm: The electrical storms mess with electrical devices all day. Prostheses are no exception, causing replacements to malfunction strangely all day. Any character with Prosthesis will not be able to spend Edge on rolls on Day 10.
• A large gun range has opened up outside the Angels' Dropsite.
• Camp Kerkina is not safe to visit after the morning.

Day 11
Today is Sunday 31st March 3050. The electrical storm has passed by the early morning, as have the clouds and the rain. It dissipates in the ocean by the late morning. Many frontline Angels take leave as the day is sunny, warm and only a little humid. The fact today is also pay day leads to many going out to enjoy themselves. Pryvidok and Torutovy businesses welcome the influx of new visitors and spending! However, the Akos Militia have not been entirely silent. In the early afternoon there are reports of VTOLs, aerospace fighters and fast moving hover tanks scouring the South for where the Angels may be located. The Obsidian Angels send out their own aerospace fighters to engage and monitor the threat, but there are some enemies that get through. These must be met and driven off before they discover the dropsite. After this threat settles down, Angels' leaders begin considering moving the dropsite. If moved closer to current operations it would make logistics easier, but the risk of being discovered would increase. This choice is made harder by reports from the AFFC of a counter-attack on Somogy. The KungsArmé have retaken the spaceport by throwing hidden reserves at it. There is heavy fighting all around Budapest. The AFFC have begun shelling the Capital and organising a new assault against it and the spaceport.
In other news, the HPG network remains down even after the electrical storm has ended. This is highly odd. Comstar reports damage to their facilities, but outside observers see no evidence of any. That aside, some communications have gotten through the old fashioned way: by being carried in from arriving a group of AFFC resupply dropships. The news is grim and hard to believe: there are reports of large scale pirate raids across coreward (northern) Federated Commonwealth space. Early intelligence suggests the Oberon Confederation are responsible. Military forces are being sent to bolster the region. That means the bad news is that AFFC reinforcements are unlikely. The good news is that the pirates are also striking the Free Rasalhague Republic. This means the KungsArmé and Militia will have to make do as well. Should this invasion become drawn out the winner would inevitably be AFFC forces on behalf of Duchess Kelswa and Tamar. Finally, the Obsidian Angels have agreed ransom negotiations with the Akos Militia. Their captured forces are due to be returned over next couple of days, minus their equipment of course.
