Day 9
Friday the 29th March, 3050. Today is sunny and clear. The attack on Camp Kerkina starts in the late afternoon, due to the distance and the need to approach from the forested sides of the camp to not raise an early alarm or be seen by anything from the air. Forces are moved in by Leopard dropship until there were sufficient numbers ready for a strike. Then various Angels lances begin an assault...

Other news continues to filter in to the Angels. Pryvidok is in an uproar after what turns out one of the Angels mechs was sighted and a secret bunker was found under a guest house. The AFFC have reported some major victories against the KungsArmé, with a key military fort and the spaceport outside the capital both conquered. The siege continues, with forces trying to break into the outskirts of Budapest where deadly close quarters combat is expected. Some other reports suggest losses among the AFFC have been higher than anticipated, but their commanders are trying to suppress that information. Of more concern is the HPG network being down. This has become public knowledge now. Comstar insists it is neutral and that the oncoming electrical storm, scheduled maintenance and confusion over the situation on planet have combined to temporarily pause transmissions. On Akos, the Militia are now certain there is some kind of threat on the continent after first hand accounts, but they aren't sure of the specifics due to rumours and competing priorities. Military sites appear to be on slightly higher alert.
