[Tessa Wentworth]

"Let's see... tell me about your plans for the journey. It's going to be pretty quiet in a few weeks. If there was something to do I'd take some time off." She replies with a smile of her own.

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"I'm..." Klaus pauses "I'm afraid things are mostly quiet for me as well. Gianna and I will probably have a card night or two. I'm" he pauses "Still not used to having so much time. I'll be preparing for our drop, but there's only so many times you can look over fact and figures. Offering to help you...well, it isn't just that you're a delight to be around, I need something to do to prevent going crazy"

" Other than that...read a lot? I don't suppose you're interested in a boozy book club on breaks?"

[Tessa Wentworth]

Tessa listened quietly. Played with her hair a bit. Pondered about those card nights with Gianna and then the unexpected compliment. She was unsure about the mixed signals.

"I like to read a little too. It'd depend on the tipple, but a boozy book club could be fun." She pushed her hair back over her shoulder. It didn't matter that she mostly 'read' audio books. "I plan to do some longer yoga sessions and to spend more time at the practice range. It's good fun."

[Klaus von Zinzer]

Klaus' gaze becomes distant for a moment, (perhaps imagining Tessa in yoga wear) but looks on with interest.

"I can't say that I am much good at yoga, but a form of exercise that does not aggravate wounds would be something to look at. Do you offer lessons?"

I mean I wouldn't mind the chance to be alone with you...

[Tessa Wentworth]

"I've not really thought about lessons, but I can talk you through the basics." She offers good naturedly. "It's gentler exercise than the gym."

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"I'd like that. It's a date?"

[Tessa Wentworth]

She looked down for a moment. "W-well, it's not exactly dinner and a movie." Tessa points out. "But, it's definitely a get together. A... rendezvous?" She looked up and covered her mouth as she giggled abashedly. "It's a thing."

[Klaus von Zinzer]

Klaus chuckles as well. "Rendezvous? It sounds so secret and furtive. I would be very happy to have a thing with you. Perhaps many things. We have a long trip ahead of us. "

internal screaming intensifies

[Tessa Wentworth]

"Oui. I mean, yes. We do."

She fidgets a bit at her desk without sitting down right away.

"Sooo, what else have you been keeping yourself busy with Klaus?"

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"Not too much." Klaus inclines his head, noticing the fussing. "Please, feel free to sit. It's your office. I'll join you if you like, or will leave if I am making a pest of myself."

He clears his throat. "I am not doing much else, other than work and the hobbies I mentioned. Maybe a few models, figurines of mechs, to be painted. I'm not in any relationship, so time is mostly by myself or fellow hobbyists. What about yourself? "

[Tessa Wentworth]

"No, erm, you're fine." She replies a little hastily. Rubbing her left arm, she walks over to where he is. She makes sure to look at some of the desks and the filing cabinet. Yep, totally just strolling his way while making sure things were in order. She stopped to pick up a wrapper someone had left at the back of their desk, leaning over it in the process.

"You paint... mech figurines?" She asks, mid lean, with a quizzical expression. It wasn't a hobby she was familiar with.

She stood straight and then walked his way, looking for a bin. "I've already told you about the yoga and popping off a few shots. I'm mostly in my room really."

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"Yes. I try to collect whatever we are fielding. At first it was to help me visualize, but now the craft is worth it on its own"

Klaus tries to be a gentleman and not to stare. He really does. But Tessa's bend after walking by just so happens to be positioned perfectly for a good gander.

That yoga seems to really pay off

it's hard to not have his good eye noticably track Tessa's bent frame.

"Are you cold? I saw you grabbing your arm." Klaus pulls off his suit coat and extends it, possibly placing it on her arm if she seems amendable.

"You don't get lonely in here?"

[Tessa Wentworth]

"I'm fine." She responds quickly, lowering her hand. "Thank you though." She blushes a little as she looks away. She busied herself hunting down one of the small office bins.

"Only on days like today when nearly everyone else is off."

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"I'll need to make an appointment in the future then" Klaus teases playfully, placing the coat on nearby chair. A reason to come back another time perhaps.

"For yoga first, perhaps? Promise me that you won't laugh too hard."

[Tessa Wentworth]

"No promises." She speaks up. A bin is located and the wrapper is disposed of.

"So." She looked back. "I'll probably be busy for the next few days, so how about next week? We can do it in the gym."

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"That sounds lovely. I'll be looking forward to it Lady Wentworth." Klaus offers a short, practiced bow.

[Tessa Wentworth]

"Miss Wentworth or just Tessa. Or Tess. I'm not..." She wasn't sure what to say. The bow was embarrassing. She wasn't a noble.

[Klaus von Zinzer]

Klaus waits for a moment. "Well, if you insist...Tessa. Forgive my formality. This is all new. It's strange to say even after all these years, but" he pauses. "New. But new is not bad. And I'm ready to try"

He slowly backs to the door, offering a small wave. "I'll see you tonight at the party"

[Tessa Wentworth]

"You had better." She says in a playfully threatening tone. He was dorky, but it was kind of cute. She wanted to get to know him more she decided.

Then it was back to work.
