26 Candles (D10, LE Nunu's Bar)

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

Stepping through the door Mei immediately sneezed from the dust and smell of decades old smoke soaked walls. She turned back and whispered. "This place is a dump it's perfect!." She slid into a booth near the door just as a group left it. I wonder if they have a waitress or if we have to go to the bar."

Butcher moved to sit next to Mei-Ling, taking her hand under the table. "You feeling okay?" It was likely a question relating to her discomfort.

[Yori Hakamada]

Yori was a short way behind standing awkwardly in the doorway for a moment before entering. She was in her usual uniform but appeared to have a cheap party hat on top.

Butcher moved to sit next to Mei-Ling, taking her hand under the table. "You feeling okay?" It was likely a question relating to her discomfort.

"Yeah, I had a really relaxed day with Alex which helps, I invited them to join us tonight if no one minds. I can't wait to see Richard's reaction when he see's what I found for him this afternoon. What did you get up to this afternoon?

Despite how close they were to the door Mei waved at Yori to make sure she knew where they were.

"Richard is going to finish his smoke and then come in here and wonder why he bothered."

Alex on heels wearing a red dress was escorted by Rico. "You are enjoying this aren't you..." the smile on Rico's face couldn't be erased.

[Yori Hakamada]

Despite how close they were to the door Mei waved at Yori to make sure she knew where they were.

"Richard is going to finish his smoke and then come in here and wonder why he bothered."

Yori nods at Mei and then at Alex, before calmly sitting in a suitable booth, back straight, hands stacked neatly atop one another.
"I have informed him the habit increases his risk of lung cancer by 78%. By my best estimate this bar only increases the risk by 12%."

"The attack mostly. Met some religious group on patrol this morning. Apparently I am part of some prophecy in their beliefs. Some sort of herald of the end times. Wild."

[Richard Winter]

Richard entered the bar, he didn't smell like he had smoked one, that' s for sure, and he just put his vidphone back in his pocket. Strange.
He also wore a party hat, which he, most likely, had gotten from Yori, one had to set the mood somehow. He walked over to her and the group, gave Yori a quick kiss on the cheek and addressed the group.
"It reminds me a bit of Galatea" he said laughing, "I can hardly wait, the first round is on me." he said and beamed at the group.

"Well there's no menu on the table so I guess you get to go stand at the bar and try to get noticed. Good luck, I'll have whatever is red and open, who wants to check out the jukebox with me?"

[Yori Hakamada]

Richard entered the bar, he didn't smell like he had smoked one, that' s for sure, and he just put his vidphone back in his pocket. Strange.

How could one attend parties without a selection of parties hats?

Yori doesn't exactly smile, but the loosening of her facial muscles and the way she remembered to blink indicate happiness to those who know her. If Yori notices anything about the vidphone she's evidently going to bring it up later.

"Yes thank you. I would like one beer."

"Would you like something non-alcoholic other than water John?" Richard asked him, then turning to Alex a bit suprised, "Do you two want something too?"

Rico laughed at Mei. "I prefer this one than the greesy overalls. Alex seem to live in the mech bay lately."

Alex sighed. "I am fixing your mech you know..." then Alex looked at Mei. "I think this is a bit over the top... but okay... I guess... we can put some nice music on."

The two Penguins looked at Richard. Rico stated "I'll have a nice beer." Alex looked at John and nodded. "An orange juice for me. I am already capped."

[John Slaktare]

"Cranberry juice for me, thanks," John replies with a nod of thanks.

"If he isn't I sure am because you look fucking AMAZING, way too good for this place." She shot Rico a thumbs up. "Come with me to pick some music Alex."

Butcher agrees. "A very good look. Pick something that we can dance to?" he directs at Alex.

Richard made a mental note of who wanted what and headed to the bar to hopefully get everything there, cranberryjuice was definitely something a little special

Alex nodded and fussed a bit with the dress but not much. The Penguin walked over to The jukebox and put on a song. Maybe Mei would like to dance... I don't want to dance with Rico...

Rico took a seat and kept an eye on Alex.

John gets up and approaches Alex after he chooses the music and offers a hand for a dance. He wasn't a fan of groups, but he was going to try for Mei-Ling. "Join me?"

At the sound of John's voice Mei turned her head to see the gesture and smiled before turning back to the jukebox and loading a bunch of credits into it and picking a few songs. Heading back to the booth she flashed a wink at Alex.

Richard returned to Mei and Yori and watched John and Alex dance. He put the two juices on a table next to him (probably surprised that the bar even had that) and pressed a large glass with a red liquid that smelled like alcohol into Mei's hand. In addition, he had two beers with him, one he gave to Yori and one for himself.
"Cheers!" he said and toasted with the two women, a big smile on his lips.

Richard returned to Mei and Yori and watched John and Alex dance. "Kanpai."
Yori clinks her glass against the other two with some finality before sculling the entire thing in one painfully long 'glug...glug...glug'
