Klaus tries to look over at Laks.

"Is there anything you think that Miss Wentworth would like?"

[John Slaktare]

"Yeah, real helpful. Thanks," he says with a nod.

"I think red is good. Maybe a necklace then?" Butcher looks at the different options for necklaces with red decorations.

[Lakshmi Kaala]

"Okay. Aren't you hopeless without me?"

She studies the items on display to find something she knew Tessa would like.

"That's a safe bet John. Can't go wrong with that."

John homes in on four items that fit. A golden thread necklace with a circular pendant featuring a red gem surrounded by diamonds. Next was a silver chain necklace with a heart shaped pendant. Then there was a red crystal necklace that looked a little like a collar. Finally, a simple red corral necklace completed the offerings.

Butcher focused on the collar style necklace, wondering if she would like a choker style. He looks a bit closer, inspecting it as closely as he can without handling it.

"I think that one might be nice," he says quietly.

It was formed from lots of high quality crystal beads. It was quite flexible.

Laks glances over and nods a couple of times. "It's eye catching. I see, I see." She smiles mysteriously.

[John Slaktare]

"I mean, that's the point of jewelry right? I'm definitely not familiar enough to know."

He looks to her and quirks the corner of his mouth, in thought about it.

[Lakshmi Kaala]

"Let me know if you ever need any other help." She states enigmatically, still smiling.

[John Slaktare]

"Sure, so..." he looks to the guy running things and tries to figure out how much the piece of jewelry would cost.

"Okay. Aren't you hopeless without me?"

"I am perfectly competent at many things Miss Kaala" Klaus pauses. " This is a new one, and I'd rather not screw it up. "

[GM Yuusha]

Wulfgang holds up all five fingers and thumb of his right hand. Fifty Cbills would be fine. It must have been really good quality crystal. Laks holds up three with a goofy big grin. He switches to four. She continues to hold up three. The corner of Wulfgang's mouth twitches.

"How about 35 Cbills?" He says, finally.

[Lakshmi Kaala]

"True, true, but there's only one that matters to you right now." Laks points out, lowering her hand and giving John a quick thumbs up.

"You might have guessed her favourite colour is blue. Dark blue, light blue, things with a similar tint like teal, aquamarine and turquoise. She likes to wear earrings when she goes out." The petite Captain explains. "See, you didn't know that, did you?"

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"She does love that color. And honestly I haven't seen her out enough to see the trend." Klaus focuses on stones of that color in the earring case.

He looks back at Lakshmi. "Thank you. She is...she deserves something nice"

[John Slaktare]

"Sounds good to me," he says in a way that suggests if Lakshmi hadn't been there he'd have been able to fleece John.

"Appreciate your help," he says to Lakshmi. "I owe you for all your help."

He settles up with Wulfgang. "Appreciate this. Hope it goes over well."

[Lakshmi Kaala]

"All women do, but Tess is special. Maybe try a hanging set rather than studs. She likes round shapes too." Laks was being especially helpful.

She turns around to John at the praise, giving him a wink. "You bet. Buy me a drink some time, neh?"

[GM Yuusha]

Wulfgang collects the money and waits for Klaus to make his pick.

"I didn't know mercenary groups were so romantically inclined."

[John Slaktare]

"Made of people and people like each other," Butcher replies with a shrug to Wulfgang.

"And you got it," he says with a nod to Lakshmi.

Lakshmi does a little victory dance as Wulfgang gives a nod. That answer made sense to him.

"Maybe I should treat myself or get some gifts too..." Laks says, the thought occurring to her all of a sudden. She starts checking out the items again.

[John Slaktare]

"Gift for someone special?" he asks, with only a polite conversational level of curiosity.

[Lakshmi Kaala]

The petite Captain reached up to pat John's upper arm. "All the Angels are special to me, but my company are extra special. Besides, one of them is getting a new mech and the other just received a replacement. It's a little auspicious, right?"

He nods at that. "I see. Congratulation gifts then. I'm sure they'll like whatever you pick."
