[Klaus von Zinzer]

Klaus quirks an eyebrow at Laks. "You knew? I scoped that there was more to see but I was running on wild speculation here, no offense good sir." He glances back at the man at the counter. " I still may take a curio with me if you want to include that in the bargain"

[John Slaktare]

John follows after Lakshmi when she says to, not really concerned or worried over the secret room. Was odd, but it's probably just illegal stuff.

[Lakshmi Kaala]

"Krisztofer Amasi, our informant, gave us the information." By us she meant the Angels' leadership. "Captain and up. You have a good nose Klaus." She pats his side as she walks past him to pop through the door the man had opened.

The curio talk had the staffer giving Klaus a strange look. "Sure..."

Klaus takes a peek into the door and then follows her through. "I knew I should not have passed up that shot for promotion!"

Butcher continues after them, looking around.

The side door leads to a hallway with a few more doors, an office, and a locked back door to the warehouse bit at the rear. The man heads that way, past the group, to tap at the poor.

"Visitors for Schantz. They used the old code."

The door is audibly unbolted and opened. Laks finger waves at the man as she confidently steps past. "Thanks hon."

Inside is a very large, dimly lit warehouse with lots of crates, tarp covered boxes and objects, barrels and metal shelves of boxes. There was a raised office overlooking it all. At a guess, the floor space had once been for a factory rather than storage. The windows along the topmost sides of the building were boarded up so it wouldn't have mattered even if it was day time outside. Only some hanging lights illuminated the gloom. Laks glances around as the door is shut and bolted behind the three by a woman with a hard stare. She gestures toward the office up the stairs.

"Up we go~"

Laks heads that way. The office light was on and it was possible to see two figures through the glass.

John followed along, only now beginning to realize that there was probably more going on than he realized and he had just gotten swept into it. So he simply followed Lakshmi quietly and kept an eye open for trouble.

Klaus is used to getting hard stares and now has a literal blind eye to turn to the disapproving woman. He follows behind Lakshmi, staying observant but staying quiet as to not tip their hand with his ignorance.

[GM Yuusha]

One of the two men inside the room gets the door for the trio of guests. He steps to the side to make room. There were a few chairs and a sofa with a desk facing them all on the far side of the room.



The man standing on the other side of the desk smiles, cigarette in his mouth. "Have a seat. I'm Schantz, but everyone here calls me Wulfgang. Can I get you a drink...?"

[Lakshmi Kaala]

"I'm good, but thanks. Lakshmi Kaala. Captain of the Obsidian Angels. We're a mercenary force working for the AFFC."

She takes a seat on the comfy looking sofa where she stretched out in a carefree manner.

"With me is Senior First Lieutenant Klaus von Zinzer, formerly of the AFFC, and Sergeant Slaktare there. We call him Butcher."

[GM Yuusha]

"Charmed."

He signals the other man to step out unless anyone asked for a drink, then he'd prepare them first. There was a cabinet with various alcohol bottles and glasses.

"Kris mentioned an Angel might visit. I wish he'd been a bit more descriptive in his message. Also, our code is now 'Schantz should be free soon'. We're feeling optimistic. So..."

[Lakshmi Kaala]

"We're here to make contact and to see what services you may be able to offer. And to have a look at any jewellery you may have." She turned to John, giving him a quick wink.

"These kind folks are pro-Lyran." She was trying to be diplomatic. "If there is anything you'd like to ask them then feel free to chime in." Laks says to her fellow Angels.

[John Slaktare]

John waves away the offer of a drink. He moves to stand next to the sofa Lakshmi is relaxing in. He nods in confirmation at the jewelry mention. However, he doesn't ask anything at the moment for fear of putting his foot in his mouth.

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"A few things, to be honest. I would appreciate getting the pulse of the people on the ground to know how things really are." Klaus pipes up. There's flattery there, but it doesn't hurt in a first meeting.

" I've heard that a number of Lyran political prisoners are being held nearby. Can you tell us more about it than what a briefing might say?"

" Second, do you know of any ways we can put the screws to the civilian government on the planet to urge their surrender rather than requesting reinforcements. Or, barring that, to make decisions based on politics rather than tactical sense.

[GM Yuusha]

"Services we can talk about. Jewellery - we have some. The pulse of the people...?" He chuckles with amusement. "That's some way to put it. It depends on where. The people of Torutovy want this planet to return to its original and rightful owners. Those we share a culture and history with."

He stubs his cigarette out in an ash tray on his desk. He sits down in his big office chair.

"Political prisoners. Ways to get the government to surrender. Okay..." He makes a mental list. "Have you not heard of one thing at a time?" Wulfgang massaged either side of his forehead.

"Give me a starting point." He pulls back one of the desk drawers to pull out a notepad. He also grabs his pen. "And reassure me that you're here to help. I'm not usually one to give out information for free."

[Lakshmi Kaala]

Laks gestured for Klaus to continue. She'd get to the official stuff after. She was curious what the strategist had in mind.

Klaus turns his head so that his good eye can fall on Lakshmi.

"Captain, I believe that the form for bribes given out for information is still "431-Subsection D: Regional Resources-Sundry Items" , correct? I believe you were intending on filling out B for the goods anyway. I promise to get the paperwork through Tessa if we are able to tack that onto our bill. "

Klaus turns back to Wulfgang. " I work on a lot of problems at once, which is why I ask. And I believe that these are solutions would benefit you as well. For instance, if a number of Lyran patriots with deep pockets and connections were to suddenly need new indenties and discreet transportation, well, I think that would be good for business. A hypothetical example of a mutually beneficial partnership. "

[John Slaktare]

Butcher isn't really following the thread at all. He doesn't seem bothered by that though. Waiting is good enough for him. He's not in a rush.

[GM Yuusha]

"We're actually hoping that none of that will be needed soon. Way I see it, it'll be a few more weeks before this is a Lyran world again. A Federated Commonwealth holding. At that point we won't need new identities."

He taps his desk.

"What else you got?"

[Klaus von Zinzer]

"I did mention the pay, correct?" Klaus raises an eyebrow.

"Is the long term benefit of operating without law enforcement active for longer benefit enough? Because the sooner the regional government falls, the longer time between then and the end of our contract."

Klaus tries to think of another asset and looks back at Lakshmi. He mouths the word 'salvage' at her.
