[John Slaktare]

"Ain't nothing wrong with being smart," John says, placing a hand on Alex's hunched over back.

"If you can't find the words that's okay. But if you're nervous about sharing, you should know by now that I care. I ain't trying to use or hear anything you say the wrong way."

[Alex Kovac]

"I guess not... my skills to be able to calculate probabilities had come in handy at the battlefield." The Penguin continued to play with the drop of water. "I guess that is why I was recruited by the OA... not many pilots have study such thing. Probability calculations and the such to better aim at the enemy... may be that is why I don't have many friends."

[John Slaktare]

"If you don't got many friends, you prolly just don't need them. You got me if you ever need a friend to hurt someone that hurt you. Or if you ever need a friend to give you a hug or tell you the truth. And the truth is that you are a great person."

[Alex Kovac]

Alex turned to look at John and smiled. The pilot offered a hand to be held. The Penguin blushed lightly enhancing the pink from the makeup that Alex got. "You are a good friend too."

[John Slaktare]

"Hope I am. It's something I don't want to screw up," he replies, taking Alex's hand.

"And your staying over tonight. Better to be with friends if you are gonna be uncomfortable." This time it was said as an assumption rather than an offer or suggestion.

[Alex Kovac]

"Oh...okay." The Penguin gave a light chuckle. I hope my dreams are nice tonight. Sadly, poor Alex dreams are never nice to the Penguin. "You are a good friend. I think it would be nice... to see people in the room when I wake up... it has been a while. It would remind me of dorm room days." Kovac giggled.

[John Slaktare]

"I never had to live in a dorm. Actually, never had to share a room with anyone, except for a jail cell. And that's only been a couple times. But I think it'll be nice havin you over."

[Alex Kovac]

"Rico says that prison and my dorm weren't that different. They had so many ruled that might as well be one."Alex chuckled.

[John Slaktare]

"Well, that's a bit more familiar then. I been locked up a few times for fights and such. Not a fan of spending time in jail," he replies, shaking his head.

[Alex Kovac]

"Our curfew was 9 pm and visitors were only allowed on weekends and they had to be out by 6 pm..." Alex shrugged. "It was hard to have visitors so it was better to just be alone."

[John Slaktare]

"Didn't you ever consider... not following silly rules? I mean, I'm a stickler for some rules, but there's others I wouldn't give a second thought if I broke em. Curfew and visitor rules are ones I would gladly ignore. Spice things up and get in trouble."

[Alex Kovac]

"How do you think Rico knows the differences and similarities of my dorm and a prison." Alex giggled. "That man should be dead but his darn luck and I like to keep him around. He is my big brother and best friend... I... I don't know where I would be without him."

[John Slaktare]

"I wouldn't know either. I barely know where I am half the time. Guess that's why we need other people... remind us of where we are and watch where we're going. I'm glad you've had someone like that."

[Alex Kovac]

"Good friends tend to stick together... family it is forever... Rico is family.... well not blood siblings but siblings in arms. You must have many siblings in arms. Right?"

[John Slaktare]

"Not really. I don't have a lot of strong connections with folks. More people in this world would prolly rather fight against me rather than beside me. Pissed more folks off than I made happy."

[Alex Kovac]

"Huh... well seems that with the Angels you have more friendlies than you think." Alex giggled.

[John Slaktare]

"There's a few that'd prolly be good with fighting with or against me. But for the most part folks stand with their team against outsiders. Even the Angels I'd slap the shit out of over a disagreement... well, I'd doe or kill for 'em."
