Victory Party (Day 11 LE break room)

[Ezmeralda]

For her good shooting in the countering the militia's scouting efforts Easy had been given enough booze to count as pre-drinking. This likely explained why she had decided to put on her old academy uniform when she came to meet Yoko for some karaoke.

She had acquired a six pack of beer in each hand and grinned as she entered the break room. "It is on tonight!"

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko was already there, early, unlike her morning appointment. She sat backwards on a chair in what could generously be called a dress, resting her chin on the backrest as she carefully polished an extremely customized looking gun.



As Ezmeralda came in with the beer Yoko looked up with a smile, spinning the gun on a finger before dropping it into a detched thigh holster, "Oooo... quite the generous haul there."

[Ezmeralda]

"Figured every party needs some party favours. You sure brought some," she grinned and gave her a wink.

"So lounge singer or school girl who goes first?" she giggled.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko pulled out one of the bottles of beer and looked it over as Ez set them down, "You start hon; I need to wet my dry throat here quick, if you know what I mean."

[Ezmeralda]

"Sure thing~!" She took a few swigs as she looked the list over. "Ah~! Lets start this with some classic school girl lovu~lovu stuff!" she giggled but she wasn't bad at this. She gleefully danced swaying her hips as she went.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko smiled as she listened, pulling out a Sasahi Extra Dry and cracking it open as she sat back. Ez certainly wasn't all that bad at singing, especially for someone untrained at it like herself. And dancing too... Yoko knew that couldn't be the alcohol talking yet either.

It was a classic song and she tapped her fingers along to it with her free hand.

[Ezmeralda]

"Love you~!" she sang as the song ended with a little wink before breaking out into giggles. "I haven't done that in a while. What do you think?" She did a little twirl to show off her old uniform.

[Yoko Lee]

A smile and Yoko set down the half empty beer bottle, "The singing, the dancing, or the uniform?"

[Ezmeralda]

"Whichever you'd like?" she smiled.

[Yoko Lee]

"It's all more than fine then, believe me."

Yoko smiled as she stood up, smoothinv out the thin dress, "Seems like you're in a good mood, and it shows through in your singing and dancing. As to the uniform... well, you know how most people from the Draconis Combine like their school uniforms, since it's such a long tradition."

She held out her hand to take the mic.

[Ezmeralda]

"I am~!" Her eyes drifted as Yoko smoothed out her dress ,"It is a classic right?"

She took a seat careful of her definitely not regulation length skirt. "So am I in for some torch songs?"

[Yoko Lee]

"Hm... let's see here..."

She looked over the song list, having never been in here for karaoke before. A couple songs caught her eyes quickly, and she picked one of them out. "I always thought this one was pretty fire."

The song itself definitely was a bit old school, and truthfully Yoko didn't know the words all that well. Still, she gave it her best and sang with confidence despite not having all that much alcohol in her yet. More of note was her dancing, shimmying and moving her body to the light dance beat.

[Ezmeralda]

The dancing definitely had Ez's attention. She grinned and cheered Yoko along.

She took a long swig from her beer just before the song ended. "Wooo! Keep dancing! Yo~ko-chan~!"

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko smiled and did so, going into another song, this one with a bit more of a beat. It was a bit easier to sing and she didn't miss any words on this one. Though it did kind of fit her husky voice abit less... Still, if it was dancing Ez was interested in, the former ballet and adult dancer certainly put on a show.

[GM Yuusha]

The singing was attracting some attention. A few people now had each popped their head in to see what was going on. Thankfully, the room had been booked out; there was even a sign up saying so thanks to Lakshmi. With none of the others invited they each had left after checking what the ruckus was.

Still, it'd be better if someone closed the door.

[Ezmeralda]

Ez closed the door. "Sorry~!"

She laughed, "I'm not sure if that song suits you so well Yoko. Although the dancing was fun."

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko shrugged a bit, still smiling, "Told you I wasn't great at singing. Just choose things I know the words to and have a good beat. Dunno what would fit me better or worse. Part of why I usually drink when I do karaoke like this, so I'm not worrying about such things too much."

[Ezmeralda]

Ez hopped up and made her way over to Yoko to feed her some beer. She grinned, "You can be my back up dancer if you'd like~? That could be fun right?"

[Lakshmi Kaala]

There's a loud knock at the door. It opens a second later.

"Hey~!"



Laks pops her head in. "You decent?" She checked them both out and grins. "Good, good. Door was shut."

She slips inside and closes the door behind her. She also sets down a large shopping bag that seemed nearly full. The pretty captain was dressed up for the evening and smiling in a self-approving way.

[Yoko Lee]

"I suppose I'd not mind that, though..."

Before she can finish the door opens and the Captain walks in, "Lakshmi! It's been a hot minute. How have you been the past couple weeks?"

Yoko had talked with Captain Kaala a few times on the trip here, and they'd gotten along well enough she thought.
