Musically Inclined (D2 EA Hangers)

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Come on where are you?"

Mei had been searching high and low for her prey and was running out of places to look. it was either here or Alex was hiding in bathroom somewhere.

"Alex are you in here?"

Mei could hear a strange noise coming amongst the other noises in the hangar. Alex and Noah were singing an old silly sea shanty.

There you are.

She walked up and leaned against a support pillar, listening to the singing and trying to imagine a drum beat that would go well with such a lovely tune. She didn't dare interrupt them though, content to listen and wait. When they finally finished she spoke.

"Hello Penguins! That was beautiful, I didn't know either of you sang."

Noah laughed and Alex chuckled. "A sailor always finds a way to sing a merry tune." Noah said with a smile. Alex shrugged. "I am a person full of surprises Mei. What brings you to the hangars?"

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Funny enough music brings me here. Did you know that Alice the lead singer of Blood-fueled Engine is on this ship?! She's actually become a merc and is working with as a tech expert. She found me in the storage area banging on buckets. So while we talking it came up that you play the guitar and she is very interested in meeting you. I THINK she means for us to all jam together."

She was practically bouncing as she spoke from excitement.

Alex blinked a few times and chuckled. Noah shook his head. Alex whispered something to Noah and Noah left. "I am not that good you know. I just took it as a hobby for lowering the guard of some of my lancemates." The Penguin nodded and accepted the handycap.

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"I've heard you playing here and there, notes drifting around the ship, and I think you're selling yourself short. I don't have a real drumkit, not yet at least though I plan to get one even if I have to give up my room to store it. Do you think you would like to play together some time?"

[Alex Kovac]

Alex smiled. "I would be honored..." then frowned " but really I am not that good. Neither is my singing..." The warrior closed the eyes and sighed. "You won't let it go right... " Alex chuckled. "But be advised that I have warned you."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"I'm not trying to twist your arm or anything, if you don't want to just say so l won't be offended or anything. I just thought it was neat that there are other musicians on the ship.

So how's your mech, ready for a fight?"

[Alex Kovac]

Alex smiled. "The ship is big and there is bound to be many that practice the musical arts." The mech pilot looked at the mech. "Yeah, Firefly is ready for some action."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Firefly huh?" She looked up at the mech. "Hello Firefly it's nice to meet you. Take care of Alex please, a lot of people are really fond of your pilot." She looked back at Alex. "So how are doing, how have you been? I regret that i haven't really gotten to know you yet, you seem like a fun time.

Person. Fun person."

Alex blinked. "Oh... Firefly has taken care of many. Lasted a few battles. I try my best to also keep it in good codition." The Penguin smiled. "I might surprise you. I like many things and fun is one."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Really? So what kind of stuff are you in to?" She asked excitedly.

[Alex Kovac]

Alex gave it a thought. "Well singing and playing guitar are one. I would like to learn how to dance... I like reading and helping to repair the mechs. I think I can narrate you my Crusader's specs from memory... but that might be boring." The warrior chuckled. "I like making bets with Rico. I lost the last one."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Oh a gambler eh? You two bet for money or silly things like having to call the other "Your Majesty" for a day?

I don't mind mech-talk in the slightest, in fact I love it. I was joking with Hrafn yesterday morning that I could recite the weight of all the hand servos in an Atlas but I would be terrible at installing them. That's really cool that you sing too I didn't know that, hopefully you and Alice can do a duet or something if we ever have a talent night on the ship. If your looking to learn how to dance you might wanna talk to Alek, if he's half as good with gravity as he was at zero-g dancing on New Years Eve then he's your man.

Aside from playing the drums I am really into clothes and fashion even really being into knitting. I want to knit everyone something since we are in such clod weather but it will take me years to get to everyone on the ship."

"Alek knows how to dance? Huh... I will see if he gives lessons." Alex nodded. " As for bets... well it is more for the fun... no money. I now have to wear a red dress next party." Alex chuckled. " Not that I will mind."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"A red dress?" Mei's eyes grew wide with joy. "Oh my god that will look so cute on you I can just imagine it. Do you already have one picked out? Do you like wearing pretty dresses? Because your whole smart and cute casual look is great."

[Alex Kovac]

"I don't have one... I was going to ask Cat but I don know." Alex sighed. "As for wearing dresses I don't mind." The Penguin chuckled.

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Oh my god I have something that would be perfect for you! PLEASE let me send it over to room so you can try it on. If you like it I can hem it so it fits you better but it's one of those things that I bought and have never gotten to wear so if you really like it you can hang onto it. Here I have a pic of it on my vidphone somewhere let me find it."

She pulls out he phone and rapid flips through it before holding it up for Alex to see.

"I think you would look STUNNING in this."

[Alex Kovac]

Alex squee. "Oh my... that is so lovely... but I couldn't..." The Penguin was so ecstatic that couldn't say much.
