Observations (D2 LA Simulators)

[John Slaktare]

"Doing good so far," he compliments. "Scorpions got some maneuverability, but its got a lot of armor to get through."

[Alex Kovac]

"Mickey can try to get that tin can into a good range and maybe get some cover."

Mickey may have heard Alex. The Penguin went back to the wall he cut a hole out of and took some cover behind the wall. The Scorpion moved toward the wall. Seems that the AI programmed to this sim wasn't that smart.

[John Slaktare]

Butcher nods at that. It was a decent choice but definitely relied on a weak AI. A smart tank crew could outmaneuver his slow mech, but he'd also probably never have to fave them alone.

[Alex Kovac]

"Yeah... that urbie is slow... and the scorpion range is quite long." Alex sighed.

Mickey stopped the simulation knowing he was probably dead if it wasn't for the faulty AI. He decided it was a good run even with the faults. Michael also knew that his lance mates would have taken the scorpion down before he could. The kid was all happy anyways.

[John Slaktare]

"Good run," Butcher says. "You were thinkin quick. Look forward to hearing about your success in the field."

[Alex Kovac]

"Thanks Butcher!" Michael smiled.

Alex smiled and nodded. "Good wit. I can see that Skipper has been training you well." Michael nodded. "You too have a bit of influence Alex. I see you in the sims analysing situations and that is what I did."

Alex chuckled. "Hit the showers and we will talk about it." Michael gave a salute to both. "If you'll excuse me..."

[John Slaktare]

"Yeah. See you around," he says with a return wave to Mickey.

Back to Alex, "Maybe we can take him and Spider out on patrol sometime. What do you think?"

[Alex Kovac]

"That sounds wonderful." Alex nodded. "Patrols are good way to help on controls and maneuverability." The warrior smiled. "It would help Kappa to get better control of the mech."

[John Slaktare]

"We'll run get on that then. More time in the cockpit never hurts."

He nods in confirmation.

[Alex Kovac]

Alex nodded. "Yeah good and feel productive at the same time." Alex smiled. "Let me know when."

[John Slaktare]

"I imagine we're all gonna be too busy tomorrow. Probably the day after," he suggests. "I'll look at the rotations and find a spot."

[Alex Kovac]

"Excelent" Alex smiled. "I'll make sure mechs are ready."

[John Slaktare]

"Recon went well today. You run into any problems out there?"

[Alex Kovac]

"I wasn't on patrol. But it is nice to know that things are peaceful. I think things might spice up after we start our attacks." Alex pointed out.

[John Slaktare]

"Yeah, it won't be too long til things are wild. The adrenaline keeps me pumped and ready during campaign," he admits.

[Alex Kovac]

"Analyze things too much so yeah... I guess I keep myself grounded but the guys sometimes make me forget about those analysis and just have a nice fight." Alex nodded.

[John Slaktare]

"Man, I got no talent for numbers and such. That would just stress me out," he said scratching the back of his head.

[Alex Kovac]

"Not many have such talents. I guess I am lucky that way. I take it also as a hobby so no sweat. " Alex smiled. "I prefer to use my talents piloting a mech."

[John Slaktare]

"Yeah. Piloting is definitely more feeling than technical for me," he replies. "Always been that way. Never did so well with all the technical stuff. I didn't even finish high school if I'm bein honest. Didn't need it to work on a farm."

[Alex Kovac]

"My father worked hard to push me through school. I help anyway I could by helping repair mechs... now I pilot them as well."
