This was the second meeting for where to attack in Zone Two, Central Akos. Camp Kerkina had been attacked and ransacked. There were three remaining military targets. Once more a map of the area was displayed. Basic information and updated intelligence on each site soon followed. Attending lance leads or representatives, along with key support personnel, were encouraged to discuss the information, ask questions and make suggestions over where to strike next.

Would it be target A, B or C?
• A) Ninovo Supply Depot - A supply and storage base along the highway. Military target. Each site is given a rating along certain scales.
Strength predicts how much damage the Angels would take. This will always be a negative. The Obsidian Angels need to keep Strength high.
Impact predicts the contribution toward the contract. This can be positive or negative. The Obsidian Angels want to increase Impact.
Threat predicts the effect on the enemy's perception of the unit. This can be positive or negative. The Obsidian Angels hope to keep Threat low.
Salvage predicts how much material gain there may be. This will always be positive. Salvage will indirectly raise Strength. The more Salvage the better!
Scales: (from least to most)
Minimal -> Minor -> Low -> Moderate -> High -> Very High -> Extreme
Prediction: Low opposition. Closest site to our dropsite. Slightly aids contract objectives. Lower risk site with a good amount of supplies and moderate salvage.
Strength: Low decrease
Impact: Low increase
Threat: Moderate increase
Salvage: Moderate
• B) Jericho Prison - Fortified high security prison for political prisoners. Military target.Ninovo Supply Depot
Ninovo is a large supply depot in Central Akos. It is a tiered site, with a strong point upon hills to provide a good view of the surroundings. Its entrance is off the main Akos highway, but the majority of the valuable supplies contained within are held in secure buildings on the high ground. Inside are the expected mech and vehicle hangars, but also numerous warehouses and storage buildings, an administration building, troop barracks and defensive points for tanks and artillery. Ninovo was a supply point that has built up gradually over the decades as it came to be used more and more due to its strategic location, but the base infrastructure is poor. It has no static defences, only infantry manning a couple of field guns.
Defences:
2 field guns
Artillery
Defending forces:
1) Patrol Group
-> Silencing the patrol [Prevent their escape]
2&3) Base Garrison
-> Rain of fire [Defeat the enemy]
-> In we go [Destroy the field guns]
4) Arnad Reinforcements
-> Incoming! (4 mechs) [Defeat the enemy]
5&6) Supply Convoys
-> Chase Down the Convoy 1 [Seize the goods]
-> Chase Down the Convoy 2 [Seize the goods]
Points of interest:
• No BOSS
• Supply Base
Bonuses:
• Conquering the site will mean 0.1 lower Strength loss
• Conquering the site will mean an additional 0.1 fame gain for all lance leads
• Salvage: Ammunition and mech parts
Prediction: High opposition. Fortified walls, with turrets, and well protected by armoured vehicles and infantry. The AFFC would be satisfied if we took it, as it has prisoners they wish to free. Not an important site for the Akos Militia. Poor salvage.
Strength: High decrease
Impact: High increase
Threat: Low decrease
Salvage: Minor
• C) Arnad Air Base - A working air base for all kinds of air units. Military target.Jericho Prison
Fortified walls, with turrets, extend either side of the heavy gates of the main entrance. The rear of the site is steep hills and cliff face, a natural defence, augmented by more turrets. There is a large overhanging command structure that allows observation of the whole high security prison. A visitor centre is built outside. Inside the prison grounds are large cement prison blocks. The whole site is well protected by armoured vehicles, prison security and nearly a company of mechs. Recon suggests there is a power generator that all the turrets run off inside the walls. The AFFC would be satisfied if we took this site, as it has prisoners they wish to free.
Defences:
8 turrets (Dual AC-5 x4, LRM10 x4)
Walls
Defending forces:
1) Outer Defence Team
-> Be a distraction (2 mechs, 2 tanks, 2 hover tanks, 2 turrets) [Survive 6 turns]
2) Generator Defence Team
-> Take it out, quick! (Power Generator, 2 turrets, 4 tanks, 2 vehicles) [Destroy the Generator ASAP and retreat -> Jump capable or indirect fire mechs recommended]
3&4) Wall Defence Teams
-> Sledgehammer (2 turrets if power not taken out, 2 mechs, 2 vehicles, infantry) [Destroy a Wall & Defeat the enemy]
-> Sledgehammer Cont. (2 turrets if power not taken out, 2 mechs, 2 vehicles, infantry) [Destroy a Wall & Defeat the enemy]
5) Riot Response Team
-> Make some noise (2 mechs, 2 vehicles, infantry) [Defeat the enemy]
6) Gold Team
-> You're in here with me! (1 medium mech, 1 heavy mech, 2 tanks, infantry) [Defeat the enemy Boss to win]
Points of interest:
• BOSS - Chief Warden Dakota Mikami [Veteran Mechwarrior] pilots an Archer ARC-4M (upgraded missile carrier heavy mech)
• Prison
Bonuses:
• Conquering the site will mean 0.2 lower Strength loss
• Conquering the site will mean an additional 0.2 fame gain for all lance leads
• Salvage: Nothing additional
Prediction: Very high opposition. Defended by aerospace fighters, VTOLs and jump troopers, as well as ground units. Presents a high risk to our operations in the region, but an even higher risk to directly confront. However, the AFFC would regard an attack very highly. Directly useful salvage will be limited for us.
Strength: Very high decrease
Impact: Very high increase
Threat: Very high increase
Salvage: Moderate
Votes:Arnad Air Base
Arnad Air Base dominates Central Akos. It is located off the main highway and it is a fully functional Air Base and barracks. It is comprised of two major runways, an air control tower, six large hangars, a walled power generator and barracks, dozens of smaller buildings and helipads. The flat grounds occupy a lot of space. It has anti-aircraft turrets scattered across the site. There are aircraft visible in open hangars and on the helipads.
Defences:
• Anti-aircraft turrets
Defending forces:
• An air force?
• Unknown
Points of interest:
• Unknown
Bonuses:
• Unknown
• Salvage unknown
Each Player Character may vote for one of the four possible target sites. Officers (Rank 2.5+) contribute two votes to their choice of target, rather than one. The target with the most votes at the end will be the designated target for attack in two days' time.
Players may optionally make a single roll to sway NPCs to their choice of target. The highest roll will sway the chosen NPC. Raises do not count to the roll, but any free raises will each increase your roll total by +5. If you have the NPC as a Connection you gain a free raise per level of devotion. E.g. If you have Lakshmi Kaala as a Devotion 2 Connection then you would gain 2 free raises to a Tactics roll to sway her to your suggestion.
