Victory Party (Day 11 LE break room)

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko waved a hand aside at the suggestion, "The booze'll blunt it, and I would much much rather have you here Miss Kaala than have a smoke. I can wait until after the party for that, but we only get one chance to hear you singing in that extremely pretty dress of yours, neh?"

She put on another song, this time a classic ballad. Even though it was normally sang by a man, her voice fit the song well enough, and she clearly knew the words. Even if her singing was still rough around the edges like the unpracticed singer she was.

[Ezmeralda]

Easy got up and danced as the song got going swinging her hips pretty enthusiastically as she kept drinking.

She grinned at Lakshmi after a moment and went to pull her up to dance too.

[Lakshmi Kaala]

She was mostly done with her ice cream. Seeing as Yoko didn't mind waiting, Laks gives a nod. She did want to have some fun. "Ok. It is pretty, neh?" She was enjoying the attention.

When Yoko switched to a new song she was all smiles again. She knew this one. The remainder of the ice cream and half her drink was consumed in the short time it took to sing and for Ez to dance. She made sure to playfully clap Ez's swinging hips. Finally, she's pulled up to dance.

"Fine, but there's no pole so I can't show off what I'm best at." Laks says with a big grin, turning around and pushing her back up against Ez's as she vibed, her hands swishing about in front of herself.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko looked back as the song wrapped up, eyebrows going up, "You know how to pole dance too, Laks? Nice. I always found it a good form of exercise, if nothing else."

She chuckled and set the mic down on the machine, "Though I doubt they'd install one in here, or anywhere on the base of course."

[Ezmeralda]

"Both of your pole dance?" Ezmeralda asked surprised at the coincidence, "I suppose you'd want a proper pole rather than a me standing still." She grinned at them, "I would love to see it though."

[Lakshmi Kaala]

Instantly Lakshmi looked really excited and pleased. She was understood! Someone got her. "Right?! I was in a pole fitness club actually."

She stopped dancing and tapped her cheek. "I've never asked, but I don't see why not."

Her gaze switches to Ez and she smiles with mischief. "Hai, it's a little difficult without a proper one, but you might have one or both of us wrapped around you if you're lucky." She waggles her eyebrows teasingly at Ez only to sit down and reach for the display with all the songs. She hunts for one to sing.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko grabs one of the fruity alcoholic beverages Lakshmi brought with her and cracks it open, putting some brownie bites on a plate before setting it next to her, "I've never had a 'hard fruit seltzer' before. You like these things Laks?"

She stretches her legs out a moment before nibbling on a brownie, welcoming the sweet treat after the small beer and chips savory combo.

[Ezmeralda]

She grins at Laks, "Well, that's not the worst thing."

She leaned over with her hands on her knees to look at the two on the couch, "Oooh~ she's thinking serious about this, right Yoko?"

[Lakshmi Kaala]

"You bet. I used to drink them all the time before ending up in Lyran space. They're hard to find outside the Combine, but Rasalhague imports them and I found a place selling them in Torutovy. I bought a box of them as soon as I saw them since I recognised the brands. A little sweet, not too strong and they mix well with near everything."

She glugged from her can as she turned back to hunting down songs.

"Umai~! Just like I remembered... and yeah, there's no point singing something you don't know well. No passion. Okay, okay, so..."

Laks clicks the queue button by a song in the 'B' section. It starts to play immediately with nothing else queued up. Grabbing the mic she starts shaking her hips.

'Bulletproof' displays on the screen as the beat kicks in. She dances for a few seconds to the electronic start, hands above her head, body rocking. Nibbling her lower lip she waggles a finger at both women only to turn around smoothly and start singing as soon as the words begin.

"I've been there, done that, messed around,
I'm having fun, don't put me down,
I'll never let you sweep me off my feet..."

She had no trouble keeping up with the pace of the lyrics, her voice confident and on point. She wiggles her ass at Ez as she bends down, keeping it there for a few seconds and slowly rising up straight. She marches on the spot after that, using one hand to express the words of the song.

Lakshmi was definitely a better singer than herself. And the dancing... "I think you're right Ez. All the more reason not to miss anything right?"

She grinned and took a nibble of brownie as Laks gave Ez a little wiggling song and dance as a sort of demonstration.

[Ezmeralda]

"I'm impressed honestly," she said with a grin, "I think she's bringing it seriously. We should've known from the dress." She nodded to herself.

[Lakshmi Kaala]

Both of them get a look for the comments, but Laks remains focused on the song. She does pat her dress at the end as she flops back down between the pair of them.

"Warmup done. Time for another drink. Ez's up next."

She cheerfully sips from her Chu-hi. "Fwaaah~ tastes even better after a song."

[Ezmeralda]

"Alright!" Ez cheered, she was three drinks deep plus a few shots earlier so she was loosened up as she got up and started singing a moodier song. Well, lyrically, the beat was very danceable and Ez seemed to be unrestrained about enjoying it. Given her short pleated skirt... well...

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko scoots closer to Lakshmi after Ez gets up, stretching an arm out to put it around her neck and resting a hand on Laks shoulder. She kind of wants to dance too, but finishing a bit more of the fruity alcohol and sugar really would cut her nicotine cravings. Cuddling up close to Lakshmi would just distract her, which was also valuable.

"You know Ez, we could always teach you, if we could find the time and space for it. You have some natural talent yourself in dancing, after all."

And that certainly wasn't a stretch, even if she could tell it was all natural talent and nothing practiced or trained.

[Ezmeralda]

"You think so?" Ez said trying to bust a move over a musical break, "That'd be fun~!"

[Lakshmi Kaala]

The small captain was fine with being cuddled by Yoko. She didn't know her super well, but she was attractive and they were all getting on so she had nothing to complain about. She leaned toward Yoko as she took another sip. That also lowered her face by a couple inches which made the view that bit more spicy.

"Teaching you things is a lot of fun Ez. I'm down." She mimes taking out a note and inserting it into the top of Ez's skirt. That has her immediately giggling at her own silly joke.

Yoko chuckled and set the can down. Lakshi getting comfortable was a nice surprise; She'd not interacted with her much, but she seemed like a fun person just like Ez.

"Oh? And what else has our Captain been teaching you Miss Ezmeralda?"

[Ezmeralda]

Ezmeralda giggled as she offered up a hip to Lakshmi's mime but this time didn't break from her song to reply instead letting them go on. First she swung the other side of her hips at Yoko for a moment in case she wanted to get in on the game.

Laks watched and listened to the fun in between checking through the song list. It had been worth hunting down the karaoke system.

As Lakshmi checked the song list Yoko excused herself to stand up; She'd finished the brownies she'd taken and it was her turn after Ez's. Maybe it was the atmosphere, or maybe it was the alcohol, but she wanted to dance as well, regardless if she was singing at the moment or not. Walking around the table with the snacks on it she joined Ezmeralda and started dancing herself.

"You know though, if you wanted, we could always just put something on and dance. I certainly wouldn't mind that, even if it's not a lesson or anything."

She looked over at Lakshmi, not stopping dancing as she did so, "Though it looks like maybe you're up for singing next Laks?"
