Day 9, EM - Skin Care (Tessa's room, closed)

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko nodded and started to undress, "Don't worry, I won't use anything up, certainly. I'm just interested in try...ing..."

She realized then that she was undressing in front of Tessa. It was no different than a locker room,in a way. But it certainly felt different. She only paused a moment though; If Tessa wanted to look away or tell her where to undress, she would. Tessa was a responsible adult, after all. Probably more so than herself.

Yoko shook her head and finished peeling the PJ shurt off, folding it up carefully. She had no bra on under it, since it was meant for sleeping in, "Mmm, trying things out that is, looking them over. I haven't been to a nice bath and body shop in forever."

[Tessa Wentworth]

Tessa also couldn't help realising this. The evidence was undeniable and right in front of herself. She was blushing as she politely found a spot on the wall to pay attention to.

"R-right? Erm, me either, so that's why I stock up. It's normal for mercenary work."

She peeked back at Yoko. It wasn't any different to a women's locker room. Tessa had even invited her to use her shower, so she realised she was being silly. She just hadn't expected Yoko to strip then and there.

"You hadn't been using the free stuff we provide, have you? It's just bulk bought stuff from a company that usually stocks hotels."

[Yoko Lee]

"Yeah; It's not as if I packed any to bring with me on the dropship voyage. I'm used to that sort of stuff, but I had roommates at university that took me shopping for nicer stuff a few times. Had this one creamy, macha scented body wash that I loved to use..."

By the time Tessa had looked back, Yoko was in the nude and folding up her stockings, setting them on her shorts and shirt.

[Tessa Wentworth]

"Matcha? I think there's something like that in there, but it'll be at the back."

Tessa gets up, once again trying not to look at Yoko so as to be polite, making her way over to her shower-toilet door. "I'll try to find it."

[Yoko Lee]

"Oh yeah," Yoko said, following over to the shower, "Did you need me to be somewhat quick at least so you can take a shower yourself before that business you have today? Or do I have permission to really test out the micro-fission water heaters the bay techs say the officer showers have installed?"

[Tessa Wentworth]

Yoko's presence was continuing to keep Tessa's face warm.

"Erm, I don't mind. Take your time. The water heating is better for the officers' rooms... I can have a quick one afterwards." She says, moving over to her racks of toiletries and busying herself searching for the matcha body wash she had. She'd only used it once.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko walks up behind Tess, though keeps a comfortable distance, "Are... you sure you won't join me perhaps then? You could show me what you bought and talk about it, I could wash your back for you... we'd save time and water too."

[Tessa Wentworth]

Her blush dramatically intensifies. "Erm!" She squeaks. "I mean, er, that might be a bit..." She laughs nervously.

[Yoko Lee]

"Hm?"

Yoko tilts her head curiously, "You've showered before with other women in locker rooms or such, right? I know not every place has public baths like in the Combine, but I thought that much was pretty consistent, even if you've never used the ship's lockerroom or gym."

[Tessa Wentworth]

"Yes, but, well, it's... it's different." She picks out the matcha shower gel. "They've been shared showers and they've not been with anyone so... stunning. You're very attractive." Tessa goes on to say. "It's a little overwhelming. I mean, I'm straight, but you're... distracting."

[Yoko Lee]

That got a deep blush from Yoko, the most Tessa might ever see if Tessa looks her way. She clears her throat, "I may be bisexual myself Tessa, but you know I'd never cross your boundaries without asking and being respectful. It would just be a back scrub and rinse off in exchange for all the kindness and hospitality you've shown me. If that feels like proper payback for you; If you've never had a good back scrub with a loofah, you don't know what you're missing, really."

She thought a moment before adding, "Not that I wouldn't love to explore those 'distracting' feelings with you, I just want you to know I'm your friend first and foremost, beyond anything else. And friends want to help and repay friends kindnesses. Or at least I always do."

[Tessa Wentworth]

Except Tessa was very much not looking Yoko's way at first. She even offered the body wash over her shoulder as she looks ahead.

"Erm..." She blushes more at Yoko's words, her ears turning red, but she gives the offer some consideration. She did need to shower and a proper back scrub would be nice.

Then Yoko pipes up again and Tessa squeaks, laughing nervously a second later. "You're joking again." Tessa stands up straight, waggling a finger where Yoko could see it as she studied the shower curtain. "I'll get the water to the right temperate and, erm, undress. There's an extra towel in the bottom drawer to the left of the desk. Please grab that and give me half a minute, okay?" She risked a peek back to Yoko's face.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko's voice was warm from the laughter, even if she was trying to not come across as joking or teasing, "That sounds good to me, and thank you."

She cracked the lid on the shampoo and took a deep sniff, taking in the authentic matcha scent. She closed her eyes, the scent reminding her of things from long ago, feeling like another lifetime at this point.

[Tessa Wentworth]

"Mhm." She waits a moment so Yoko can have her sniff. Then she pushes her side to nudge her toward the door. "You can sniff it more outside. Get an extra towel."

[Yoko Lee]

"Okay okay. Sorry!" Yoko giggled softly and stepped out, "Just smells so good. I'll grab one of those towels for you."

She set the bottle down and walked across the room towards Tessa's drawers where she'd said the towels were kept, though she'd failed to say which drawer they were kept in. Yoko tried the top drawer first.

[Tessa Wentworth]

Shutting the bathroom door behind Yoko, Tessa sighs and claps her cheeks. She checks herself in the mirror before tugging off her pyjamas. Her underwear follows. She makes a neat pile atop the toilet seat and then she heads to the shower to get it to a good temperature. When it was quite warm, but not uncomfortable, she steps under the water with her back facing the door.

"Water's warm." She calls out, hoping Yoko hadn't gotten cold. Back in the room Yoko had found Tessa's undergarments. The drawer below that had casual wear, including yoga clothes, with the third drawer containing towels and flannels.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko checks out some of the undergarments quick, noticing a clear split between typical cotton undergarments and more fancy affair. She'd love to see Tessa in either, but notes the fancy stuff before grabbing a towel and closing all the drawers.

"Be right there."

Drawers closed she carries the towel over to the door, hearing the sounds of running water through it before opening it and stepping in.

"Got that towel for you."

[Tessa Wentworth]

"Thanks. The other's on the side. They're both fresh so pick whichever for when we're done." Tessa says to Yoko as she tilts her head to get her hair wet. She was behind the yellow shower curtain, but her silhouette was very visible.

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko promised to be good... and it wasn't an idle promise; She wanted to take care of Tessa, loving her, and that meant respecting boundaries and being clear with communication. Still, as she got into the shower with Miss Wentworth, she was more happy than she'd been since she took the job with the Angels.
