Observations (D2 LA Simulators)

[John Slaktare]

"You been around them a lot longer than I have then. When'd you start in simulators?"

[Alex Kovac]

Alex chuckled. "When I was 5 more or less. I used to sit on my pops lap and learn the controls." The warrior reminisced. "Yeah... but I couldn't practice on his lap forever... so when I was was about 10 I was allowed to use the sims alone."

[John Slaktare]

John nods. "I got rushed through the sims. Only practiced a few months before I was piloting a mech. But you've probably done sims for almost every mech."

[Alex Kovac]

"Not all of them... I think I have piloted and repaired a few mechs." Alex kept the humility that keeps the penguin being polite. "You probably have more experience than I do in combat."

[John Slaktare]

"In an arena, yeah, but not in war. It's only my second contract with the company," John says.

[Alex Kovac]

"This is my second contract as well. I... I..." The Penguin was crestfallen. "I had to take a break after father died."

[John Slaktare]

Butcher nods at that. "We do what we need to. You took time, I rushed into danger. Grief ain't easy."

[Alex Kovac]

"Somethings are for the best. I suppose." Alex nodded. "We live our lives as we want to."

[John Slaktare]

"If what you're doing don't feel right, you're probably not doing what's right for you," he says with a nod. "And we're all different so different stuff's gonna feel right."
