Alex hugged Mei. "Thank you thank you thank you." The mechwarior smiled.

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

Mei returned the hug. "You're very welcome, I hope you like it once you try it on and I hope I get to see you in it soon. Like I said if it needs any alterations I can totally do that for you, no problem and you're always welcome to raid my closet if you want.

I got to say it's not often you see someone so excited to have lost a bet." She said with a wry smile. "Did you lose the bet on purpose? Is there someone you want to impress or are you like me, just like to dress up pretty from time to time?"

"I just thought that he would lose it was quite simple. I would lose if Rico got his tux dirty so he proved me wrong." Alex giggled. "I do enjoy dress they are so airy. "

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"So uhh, anyone you looking to impress?"

That is none of your damn business and you know it.

"I'm sorry that was way too forward of me, you don't need to answer that. I'm sure you will wow all of us anyway. You are gonna wear this at the next party? Guess I'm gonna have to plan something, I don't wanna have to wait until New years eve again."

"Not really..." Alex chuckled. "I suppose if it fits... but I doubt it. If you need help you'll let me know right?"

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"I promise you I can make it fit. Expect to find it hanging from your door tonight. I'll drop it off on my way...I'll drop it off later.

Mei took a step back and looked up at the mech.

'So you do your own maintenance or do you just like to tinker?"

"Both... I don't know what happened yesterday I have to check it out but for now... I let it be... I guess the temperature shock might have been a thing." The Penguin sighed. "I am really honored that you decided to this for me."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Oh come on, like I said you're doing me a favor. Now I have an excuse to buy something else I will never wear." She laughed.

"So we haven't gotten to chat much, how did you and the Penguins come together?"

"Well Rico and I grew sort of together. I met Noah at school and Mikey was like the little brother that came after I needed some space." Alex explained. "That is why Rico and I have that weird relation. He is like a brother."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"A big buff hunky brother." She said not as quietly as intended and she realized it immediately. "Sorry, I'm incorrigible but if we were going to make an Obsidian Angels pin-up calendar the Penguins would get a feature spot in it for sure."

Alex laughed. "I don't see him like that but I warn you... he is a softy. He makes the best pillow." Alex giggled. "Oooooh, I would rock that Betty Boop curls."

An image flashed through Mei's mind and for a moment a stupid grin crossed her face before she quickly regained control, clearing her throat.

"Well, I would certainly love to see that, maybe I'm gonna have to take up photography. You even done any modeling?"

"Those seasonal catalogs pay pretty well from what I hear and they let you keep some of those clothes. It would be neat to flip through one and see someone I know."

"There are people prettier than me." Alex said humbly. "Besides none would believe that is am a smarty pants." The Penguin giggled.

"And you're humble too. So what are you up to after this? Like I said when I got here Alice is banging around here looking for you."

"Well if the Angels fall I guess and still living I guess I continue being a mechanic of be a warrior for higher."
