Accessorize (D6 LA Expecting/Open)

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

Mei was bouncing as they stepped out of the transport and onto the streets of Pryvidok.

"Oh boy have I been waiting for this, goodbye cramped dropship hello shopping district."

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Ahhh, you smell that? Smells like commerce. Now, you said you needed shoes but what else? Handbag? Necklace? Give me excuses to go into more stores."

[Alex Kovac]

Alex giggled. "We can stretch our legs instead of that threadmill." Alex smiled. "I would like some nice shoes. Maybe a bracelet for Rico. He got a pounding today so something nice for him would be nice."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Oh no, he's OK though right? We can definitely find something for him. I wish I had been out there today but Turtle's mech took a beating last time around and is still being repaired. Felt like I was sitting on my hands all day so I'm really glad you wanted to do this."

[Alex Kovac]

"He is fine... just a minor contusion but the mech..." Alex, sighed. "It will take us a week or so to repair." The crestfallen penguin looked at Mei. "But we are here to have some fun right."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Absolutely! here, this place will probably have something, lets start here." She pushed open the door to a store and held it for Alex.

"So did you get a chance to try on the dress, does it fit OK? Like I said I can hem it for you if you need or you could probably find a pro here in town."

[Alex Kovac]

"It fits like a glove..." Alex smiled "That is why I need the shoes... if I let Mickey choose he would find ones with shimmering rhinestones and pretty high heel. I would not be able to walk with those." The Penguin shook the head and chuckled. "Rico would probably get me sporty shoes in some weird color like I don't know florescent orange. And Noah would just give me a pair of sandals." Alex explained, looking at the many things in the store.

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"So what do YOU want? Pumps, high heals, fuck me hard boots? I mean...sorry, but you know what I mean right? You could hide just about anything under that dress if you wanted to or you could go full fairy tale. Got a color in mind?"

[Alex Kovac]

"Oh... some nice platform pumps... or knee high boots." Alex eyes glisten. "Black or red... you know."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Yes! Black knee high boots, that's what I'm talking about." Mei picked up a pair of and inspected them. "So if you are going this far into it are you going to get your hair and nails done too?" She set the shoes back down unsatisfied. "Oh, what size are you, that's kind of important."

[Alex Kovac]

"I have to... why should I not? I mean... The whole ensemble must be... you know... complete." Alex looked at Mei and smiled. "Size 7... or 8...depends on the shoe type."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"7...7...7..." Mei muttered as she hunted through the isles. "So what else you been up to, have you hooked up with Alice yet? Oh how about these, they're an 8?"

[Alex Kovac]

"No, I haven't seen her around besides the meetings." Alex tried the shoes on but they were slightly big. "As for what I have been doing... hanging around the hangars playing guitar... trying to help out the techies with some tunes."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"That's a shame, I'm gonna have to drag you two together. I don't know if you are actually interested but I think it would be cool if we all played together some time." Mei grabbed a pair of blue beach sandals and stuck them under her arm then continued looking. "Let me know if you see any blue wedges in a 5."

[Alex Kovac]

"Sure but that will have to wait. I will be too invested in fixing Rico's vindicator... you know." Alex stated. "I don't see wedges but high heeled Mary Jane's" Alex showed Mei the cute powder blue shoes.

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Oh those are cute." She exclaimed. "Let me take a look at those, they have a girl from a small village singing to birds kind of vibe." She took the shoes and examined them closely.

"So you said you like to wear dresses but I've never seen you in one, not even on New Years Eve, do you not own any right now. Like I said you can raid my closet any time you want or maybe we can find a few things while we are out today."

[Alex Kovac]

"I dont... most of the time I am in overalls or in the cooling vest. You see I am.... an introvert... And well... I rarely hang out with other people...And well... I don't own many pretty things." The Penguin admitted.

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"Well there's nothing wrong with being introverted as long as you like it but if not well...there are lots of interesting people on the ship so maybe I could help introduce you. Or if there is someone you have your eye I could maybe help in some way. As for not having many pretty things when you like pretty things is easily fixed we simply get you more pretty things." She said optimistically.

"How about these, the charm is really fun."

"Those look perfect!" Alex said with glee. "I enjoy my time with friends singing and helping people out even in my introverted ways."

[Mei-Ling Zhou]

"There's a pair in white too if you want." Mei handed the shoes over so Alex could try them on.

"As long as you're happy and not hurting others that's all that matters, a lot of people seem not to be enjoying life much. But if you DO want to get out a bit and maybe do something I am feeling the itch to party so I'm probably gonna be looking into a club night some time soon if they have one here. Not sure who all would be interested, still gotta talk to people but you are certainly welcome to come if you want...and if there is anyone you would like to spend some time with I would be happy to invite them along."

"I will be happy to attend. Just tell me when." Alex tried the shoes and as the penguin said they looked perfect. "Do you think I should get both?"
