Yori fires a few more unimpressive shots.

"MY OWN!" She shouts back, keeping low to avoid the suppressive fire. She shifts position toward her mech and more crates while remaining in cover as best as she was able. As she does she fires a blind shot over the top of the crates. It pangs off the floor near Richard.

"Get out!" She snarls, risking a quick glance to check their location.

Richard's round very nearly hits the woman. It cuts through her clothing covering her shoulder, forcing her to duck back down. She cursed under her breath in a rage. Carefully, very carefully now, she switched positions to where there was an open crate. She grabs something out of it.

Not moving this time, the owner flicked the safety off the SMG. She pops up and fires a burst at Richard's new position. He wasn't fully in cover yet. One of the bullets hits his shoulder. His armour absorbs some of the impact.

"You like that?"

She ducks back behind her sturdy crates.

Richard perceived the hit, fortunately he had his armor on which intercepted the hit. That would give a nice bruise.

Yori's shot very nearly take the woman out but just splinters loudly into a box.

This seemed to especially tick her off. "Motherfuckers! Break into MY house and think they can shoot at me!!!" She switches targets to Yori. The burst thunders around the mechwarrior. Good she was in cover.

A sliver of concrete slices across Yori's cheek as she waits for her opponent to finish shooting and then hustles forward into cover behind a box, breaking open her gun and sliding a reload home.

"There is no need for such language."

The angry woman takes a moment to crouch down and calm herself. She'd drive off these bandits or murder them.

Yori closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, a moment of stillness as she tries her best to ignore the pain in her side.

Richard sent her into a rage once again by taking cover behind the mech's legs. She turned and let rip with her SMG on his position. There was a lot of weapons fire, but all of it pinged off the mech's armoured chassis. He'd live for now.

Still fuming, she hunkers down to better avoid any incoming fire.
