"Apparently there is some kind of walkway to an observation deck from which you can admire the caves and the ocean. Should we check it out later?"

"It's a logical next step after breakfast, and it would allow you to further enjoy the ocean. I believe we should. Is there anything of particular interest in the caves?"

Richard began to read aloud. "The caves under the Windyridge Guesthouse were used in the early days of the planet by numerous gangs of smugglers to smuggle goods forbidden by the SLDF or the subsequent occupants of the planet into the town of Pryvidok."
He put the card away again and grinned. "What do you think of that?"

He put the card away again and grinned. "What do you think of that?"

"I believe it is promising. Perhaps there will be some interesting leavings in the cave? I find history quite enjoyable, it's satisfying to know why things are. It is a promising component of a breakfast date."

Yori's knife and fork blur into motion, like someone has cranked up the speed on a factor machine that consumes toast.

Richard watched with a mixture of horror and admiration as Yori began to devour the poor toast at double speed.

However, he also quickly finished his coffee and devoured the remains of his bun and got ready for the walk.

When Yori was ready, Richard would hold out his real, left, hand to her. "Ready?"

Yori nods, skulling her tea in one terrifyingly swift motion.
"Yes I am, let us enjoy the walk."
She looks down at his hand and blinks before carefully taking it with her own and squeezing ever so slightly.

The two would walk slowly and Richard would occasionally talk about something trivial, while between the trees and the stairs the Ocean would slowly approach them. The breeze increased the closer they got to the ocean and Richard was glad of his hoodie. While the leaves rustled in the trees, the two evetuell reached the viewing platform.

"Hmmm, it is slightly chilly, I am not sure I should have skipped layer 1."
Still, the view was good and Yori seems to enjoy listening to Richard talk and occasionally interjects with something from her list of trivial subjects, a lot of which seems to be literal trivia.

"It's very pleasant here, I can almost forget there is a sizable war going on."

Layer 1?...... Richard furrowed his brow Wait a minute, wait a minute, does that mean????! He shook his head, trying to hide his lsightly redder cheeks.

"I can understand why." he looked at the Ocean. "It's so incredibly peaceful here. No Mech, tank, VOTDL, or anything else in sight. Just the ocean, the wind, and" he looked to Yori "a beautiful view."

"Yes, and it is just the two of us."
This time she definitely almost smiles, her lips definitely twitches up for a moment.
"I am about to allow myself to relax slightly and just enjoy it."

Yori visibly tenses for a second, eyes widening. Moderate contact indeed! Then she relaxes again, returning the kiss and leaning into Richard contentedly.

He would maintain the kiss for a while before breaking away from her. He leaned against the railing of the observation plattform and looked at Yori.
"...." Richard was something he rarely was, speechless, but he was grinning from ear to ear.

She takes her glasses off and hurriedly cleans them, giving her an excuse to look down for a few moments.
"That was very nice, you were overly modest about your kissing skills in the survey."
She continues furiously polishing her glasses.

He chukles. "As i said, internal vs external percepetion. Speaking of wich, did anyone ever told you that you are incredibly cute when you are blushing?"
