Her position was untenable. She had enough experience to know that. However, she wasn't giving up her prize. The woman makes a beeline for new cover as Richard's gunfire dies down. She heads away from him, flanking to Yori's right. She drops her SMG en route so she can pull out her combat knife...

She screams out in pain as a bullet tears through her upper arm and enough clips her shoulder. Gritting her teeth, she tried to focus. No, that wasn't working.

She slumps down where she was, panting and struggling to stem the bleeding.

For a long horrible moment it looks as though Yori is going to shoot anyway, but then she sees Richard out of the corner of her eyes and uncocks her weapon.

"Thank you. You have made this a memorable second date."

Richard ran over to both of them and changed his magazine as he went. He kept his eyes on the woman, but lowered his rifle for the moment.

"Who are you and who do you work for," was his first question.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a Plastiflesh Patch and pressed it into Yori's hand.

Yori looks down at the patch with a blink and then smiles, pressing it into her wound...which turns the smile into a wince.

"Hayley Burton. I don't work for anyone." She laughs dryly, unable to believe her bad luck. "You visited my home today so you could scope it out." With a grunt she shifts to slump against a crate. She clapped the hand of her good arm over her main injury.

"We thought it was quite nice, good food, a pleasant atmosphere. You run a nice establishment. We noticed some strange readings coming from here later and came to investigate."

She weakly gestured toward all the crates. "I can barely stop the bleeding." Hayley adds through gritted teeth.

Hayley complies without a word. Yori has no trouble handcuffing her. The patch helps, but the wound required proper treatment. Hayley's eyes swim for a moment. Adrenaline, pain, stims, over-extertion, loss of blood...

She barely registers Yori's statements. Closing her eyes, she tries to keep her movement to a minimum. It hurt less that way.

"Whatever."

Meanwhile Richard had secured the two guns, the knife and made sure the area was clear. There was nobody down the corridor she'd come through. Just a close door that likely led to stairs or a lift.
