Prepping up (Pregame 2 EM Cafeteria Open)

[Alison Rodríguez]

"I'd much rather be on the planet too. Soon yes?" She nodded to Yoko, before looking to Richard.

"Before my time in the Angels I was a Mercenary for hire as a tech and comms expert. Before that? Selling out stadiums as a performer. Far more fun but at times way more stressful."

[Richard Winter]

Richard looked in disbelief at Alison: "You're shitting me! You can't be That Alice"

[Alison Rodríguez]

Alison grinned.

"I am indeed that Alice. Nice to meet you."

[Richard Winter]

"Damn" was his first response. "How the Hell did you end up in a Merc Outfit?" was his second.
He still lokked baffled at the revelation.

[Alison Rodríguez]

"Been doing merc work for about a year, and people are always surprised by it" Alison chuckled "I can understand why though. Going from the stage to well...this? It's a big change, but I got my reasons. Won't be forever though, the stage always calls to me and I'll be back on an even bigger more international stage before long I'm sure!"

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko had definitely heard of Alice as well. Had danced to some of her stuff, even if it wasn't the kind of thing she'd usually listened to.

"Tech and comms expert, hm? I don't suppose that means I'll be working with you?"

She was much more mellow now that she had some real sugar and a smoke in her system, leaning back in her chair in her shorts and tank top as she puffed on the cig Richard had offered.

[Richard Winter]

"I used to bump my head to you Stuff during basic training in the AFFC" he said excited. "I always wondered what happened to you after you were no longer heard from"

[Alison Rodríguez]

"Guess so!" Alison said with a grin to Yoko "I'm more tech than comms, but I can rock both good enough. Learnt a lot while going on tour about computers and tech, and it was easy to apply that to a life outside of music. Rigging a mega show isn't all that different to rigging explosives, and often with about the same level of noise and explosions" she laughed, then looked at Richard and added "I can't be blamed for any bumps or broken bones, but I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it all. Don't know if a war zone is a good place for a concert but if I score the chance you better believe I'll be singing here sometime."

[Yoko Lee]

Yoko nodded at the explanation before looking back and forth between Richard and Alison, "Should I give you two a moment to reminisce over your music? Give you a chance to more... intimately know your idol, Mister Winters?"

A grin and a puff on her cig.

"Jealous?" he teased Yoko. " He took a sip of coffee, "Not that I don't enjoy talking about music, of course. But the Blood-fuelled Engine's were an awesome party band for us recruits back then, unfortunately they were somewhat like a Large Laser, Big, Hot, Impressive but not particularly long lasting."
